Was just about to say how the Lankan think-tank is looking like genius here by persisting with Jayawerdene as an opener and arguably the best batsman in the lineup play the maximum overs, and then have Tharanga come down the order to potentially be a finisher (makes perfect sense in having a top-order batsman come down the lineup to shepherd the lower-order + the tail in any chase)... but then Tharanga, and now the hopes of Sri Lanka, all perishing together.

SL are not going without any victory bro. SL won 4 matches out of 8 in round robin league (equal number wins with Australia) and won 1 final match out of best 3. The way they fought in the whole series was commendable. Don't forget they had a bad tour in SA. So, considering their past series, i must say, SL are back in good form now and they will go to Asia Cup as Favorite.
