Default ICC Ratings

Test and ODI ratings are different beasts. The ICC link from Cricinfo has positers to the ratings and the ratings formula.

They also have possible rating changes for ZIM and BAN after the series.

For example, ZIM's current test rating is 56. BAN has 0.

The following lists possible rating changes depending on what the final series result is for the test series. ZIM ratings are given before BAN ratings.

Zimbabwe wins by 2 Tests (2-0) 57 0
Zimbabwe wins by 1 Test (1-0) 55 1
Series drawn (0-0, 1-1) 52 4
Bangladesh wins by 1 Test (1-0) 48 7
Bangladesh wins by 2 Tests (2-0) 47 9

For context, here is the current test ranking:

1 Australia 125
2 South Africa 113
3 Pakistan 102
4 England 101
5 India 100
6 New Zealand 100
7 Sri Lanka 96
8 West Indies 82
9 Zimbabwe 56
10 Bangladesh 0

For ODI's the current ranking is as follows:

Team Rating
1 Australia 137
2 South Africa 119
3 Pakistan 107
4 Sri Lanka 107
5 England 106
6 India 105
7 New Zealand 102
8 West Indies 100
9 Zimbabwe 66
10 Kenya 28
11 Bangladesh 0

I don't see any changes to the BAN score after the ODI series :-(

I can't stand the odi table. Keyna with 28 points just makes me angry! They don't deserve that 28 point.

.....current kenyan team is much better than ours....may be they r old...but they have talents....results and statistics talk for them.....they have consistency in their games more than us....and kenya deserve those '28' points....and if Kenya get test status now....it will be very close contest....we can beat them and they can beat us too...its 50-50
