Thats a WCG event, It's one of the Top 10 Events in the World, Hopefully somebody will pull out sick and if he does get to play hopefully he finishes 2nd to Tiger or Tiger finishes 2nd to him ... I'm still huge Tiger fan, without Tiger theres no 7 million dollar purses etc. When he retires alot of money is going to leave golf

DS is stealing all the info from this Thread

Did the reporter pronounce his name "chhiddikur" the first time? He seems to be eloquent enough and a confident chap. That will take him far.

Really hope he gets to play. This tournament will give a proper indication of where he stands among the very best.

The chance is very slim. PGA has published the list of players for this tournament today and he is not there.

Siddiqur on -1 after 9 holes in Round 1 of the Singapore Open. Slow start considering there are 51 players in front of him and that there will be cut-offs after Round 2 of this fairly prestigeous event.

Hope he shows his form from the last tourney very soon. Also, if he makes it to the Saturday I can watch him live on tv

He is -3 after 14. He did move up, now tied for 34th. The cut is 65 so he is in the running for now.

he is now tied for 32nd. Cut will be decided after round 2. He is doing pretty well and I expect him to avoid the cut.

Sky is showing Singapore open live but I could not see his golf today. All focus was on Phil Mickelson and Miguel Angel Jiminez.

He finished on 4 under par. He has Phil Mickelson as company and tied for 25th.

Brilliant start.

He fired in two bogeys in addtion to 6 birdies. If he managed to avoid 1 of those bogies, he'd be equal 8th. I am hoping he ends up in the top 10 in this tournament. I am sure he is thinking top 3.

He is the forefather of our golf, like Niaz Morshed was in Chess for South-East Asia. Let's hope he is a much greater success story...wouldn't be bad finishing ahead of Phil Mickelson. Still very early, but he's bankable.

Just watched the highlights. As Miraz bhai said all focus was on Mickelson,Jimenez and few other top players. Hopefully tomorrow he tee off with one of the top players.

Just browsing through the news.
Apparently they are playing in 2 different course because of 4 hour delay due to severe weather.
108 players yet to to finish their 1st round.

Tanjong Golf course where the 2 leaders played was easier according to the news and Sky commentary.

Serapong course was bit harder.

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/golf/...ore-open_N.htm

Siddikur is on the easier course.

Siddikur yet to T off. Probably another rain interupted day at Singapore. If he can repeat his yesterdays performance he will be with the top 10 leaderboard.

He currently on -6 and tied for 15th poisition. He is getting better and better.

He is probably avoiding the cut for the first time in a major open.

The guy who topped round 1 with 9 under par missed the cut after scoring an 8 over par in the second round. Incredible demise!! This is golf for you.

Round 2 is suspended due to darkness and will resume tomorrow morning. Siddikur was in the middle of a fine run. Hopefully he will continue his fine run of form tomorrow. Good luck!
