Ash and Shaun Meet the Press: Talk About Batting and Expectations in Lanka
Excerpt-
Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful hoped that their extended batting sessions during last week would help them succeed in Sri Lanka.
Talking to reporters after their final practice session in preparation for the tour of Sri Lanka at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium yesterday, Ashraful sounded confident that the weeklong net sessions, indoors and outdoors at the centre wicket, would come in more than handy.
"Every member in this team has worked on their batting. We are starting with Test matches and I think that if we can succeed with the bat, we can go a long way in this tour," said the 23-year-old Ashraful.

Ash also summerized his expectations in Lanka like this to CSB News, Channel i, ATN Bangla, NTV, RTV and others: -
- To bat all 5 days in each of the 3 tests.

As Shaun said....
I totally agree with Shaun, As he said, theres nothing to be scared about. We have nothing to loose. Moreover there is a proverb in sub-continent: Gabbar said,
"Jo Darr Gaya Woh Mar gaya".
We shouldnt be scared because that takes away your confidence and makes your de-motivated. SL players are human being too, and they are not taller than us. Similar structure like us (exception: Aftab). May be they are more experienced and will try to scare us, because in this gentlemen's game, mind game is also a big factor. And superior teams always try to put the mental pressure on the other team!!!

His first objective is achievable, but to achieve the second one,he'll have to use even the last bit of talent he has.

on the second objective, i'm confident that he'll try his very best. watching him practice and assume leadership along with mash has been a HUGE revelation for me personally.
