Default New Zealand's tour of West Indies 2012.

Gayle is in form of his life. Three fifties so far. New Zealand will not find it easy. Looking forward to a rare series win by the windies

Sammy is a real handy batsman in the lower order. Very effective.

NZ 195/5 needs 121 from 79 balls. Do see them making it.

I think we have golden chance to beat this NZ team in coming T20 WC ... Well it's ODI though..

A team without McCullum, Taylor and Vettori playing in spin-friendly conditions. Even Zimbabwe would annihilate them. Regardless, WI are one of the favourites for the WT20. Great to see them dominating again.

i am living in nz and follow nz cricket, we should not be getting so optimistic that nz will be easy to beat, etc... this nz team at full strength (should have) beat south africa at full strength in their last t20 series. ( nz cudnt get 3 runs in the last over to win the series 2-1 -_- ) guptill, nicol, mcculum, talyor, ryder, williamson, franklin, oram, would make up the top 8 in a full strength nz team.... can anyone argue that, that isnt a formidable batting line up? i mean if we had a SUNILE NARINE, then sure we could be banking on a easy win but alas we dont...

Congrats WI on winning the series. Looks like WI is getting further and further away ftom us in the ranking table. I still can't believe we were so close to climbing up to number 8 but we ruined our chance.

In the limited overs format the current WI team has serious firepower. Gayle, Bravo, Pollard, Russel, dwayne smith are all power hitters. Their captain sammy is no slouch with the bat himself and adding to that the twin threat of Bishoo and Narine could be really handy in the middle overs. If this group sticks together for a couple more years and they find an able partner for Gayle in the opening Slot then we will see a very good side emerge out of west indies for 2015.

Russel saved WI again. 59 off 40.

I don't understand why he is batting at number 9. He have an avg of 36 and SR of 120+ in 27 ODI thus far, and he should batting ahead of Sammy and powell(wk) @ no 7.

Agreed. Their really mishandling Russell. The guy should be at 5/6. Also he needs to be in the Test team.

Russell has more shots than Pollard. I would like to see him batting @ 7 if not higher.

13 wickets in 5 matches. I hope he will be effective in test matches

Pollard can do only one thing: SLOG

Russel on the other hand has plenty of shots in his book. And this NZ team, will struggle to beat even zimbabwe and ireland the way they are playing.

Wouldn't be surprised if this West Indies side ends up winning the T20 WC this year. They'll probably fall short in the end, but they have the best T20 specialists in the world. The only things stopping them: spin and themselves.

[..].. ''nz will struggle tobeat ireland and zimbabwe'' im 150% sure you didnt watch the matches, if it wasn't for GAYLE in the first 2 ODIS and NARINE who single handedly won them the last 2 ODIs. 50 off 42 to win in both the last odis but unfortunately for the black caps, narine bowled 3/4 of the remaining 7 overs both games. It really bugs me and just because of [...] people im now looking forward to NZ dominating bangladesh in the world t20!

This West indies team are nowhere near favourties to win the world t20, they have hit and miss batsmen and apart from narine, an average bowling line up. However if Gayle can be mr consistent and narine bowling in Sri Lanka, west indies will have a good chance of doing well in the world t20,

Don't know why I'm even bothered to reply but your obsession with NZ team is pretty hilarious. Do spare some time and bother looking NZers forums where every single die hard NZ fans are not happy with NZ team whereas you constantly defending them, don't understand what's the need of doing this
