Default New Zealand v Zimbabwe, 1st oneday

New Zealand just lost Felming. They are 204 for 1 in 27.5 overs, Vincent 102*

This is a 44 over match, but NZ should end up somewhere around 350.

294/1 in the 36th over. Lou vincent 152* in 109 balls with 14 fours and 8 sixes. Looks like he will get to 200 before Sehwag does.

NZ finish at 397, just 1 run short of the world record 398 and 3 runs short of the magical 400 barrier. Pity they had only 44 overs.

Some very incompetent batting saw NZ make only 397/5 in the 44 overs. They needed only three runs in the last ball tobeat SL's record of 398. They made only one and lost a wicket.

The farce will resume after lunch half an hour later.

After this performance will the Critic call for Zim to lose ODI status also? Geez I hope they get to 198 in 44 overs. That would be less than 200 run defeat.

unbelieveable! Zimbabwe have really lost it. To think that their bowling attack included Streak and Blignaut as well. Speechless!

Did anyone notice that NZ had Vettori as 12th man? Then after Zim's 19 overs he replaced the captain to captain the team. I thought this is just funny.

Only if these two can stick around for the remaining 10 overs they will cross 198.

Not only Streak and Blignaut, who are stars of Zimbabwe cricket, players like Mahwire, Gavin Ewing also played today - who are kind of regulars, but young players of the team before their dispute.
