It is kind of early, but based on current circumstances, I would like Tamim and Nafees to open, and Mushfiq to come in one down. Ashraful can bat at five, Shakib at four and Mashrafe at seven, followed by Rafique, Razzak, Rasel and Shahadat. Aftab gets to bat at number six.

This is my ODI team, btw. For tests, I would probably replace Tamim Iqbal, but am undecided on who to replace him with. I would probably also have Aftab swap places with Mushfiq, but that's iffy.

Firstly Id like to say that all players should get as much domestic matche before the NZ series. Both first class and list A matches are VITAL

Roles

Bowler
Batsman
All-Rounder

ODI team

1) Junaid Siddique
2) S Nafees
3) Aftab A
4) Md Ashraful
5) Sakib al Hasan
6) Mushfiq R [WK]
7) Mahmudullah
8) M Mortaza
9) Shahadat hossain
10) A Razzaq
11) S Rasel
12) Nazim-uddin
13) Tamim Iqbal
14) Imrul Kayes
15) Nadif Choudhury

1st choice of Openers should be Junaid and Nafees for the first match, then the less successful of the two should be replaced the next match with tamim Iqbal, if both do horribly then they should be replaced with Nazim as well.

Test team

1) Javed Omar the great lol
2) S Nafees
3) Rajin Saleh
4) Md Ashraful
5) Habibul Bashar
6) Mushfiq R [WK]
7) Sakib al Hasan
8) Farhad Reza
9) M Mortaza
10) Md Rafique
11) Shahadat Hossain
12) Enamul Haque
13) Imrul Kayes
14) Nazim-uddin
15) Ziaur Rahman

My ODI team :

1. Zuned (provided he will do well in NCL)
2. Tamim
3. SN
4. Aftab
5. Ashraful
6. Alok/Nazim/Tushar/Mehrab Jr (whoever does best in NCL)
7. Sakib
8. Mahmudullah
9. Mushfiq
10. Rafique
11. Abdur Razzak
12. Mashrafe
13. Rasel
14. Shahadat
15. Zia/Dolar/Sharif/Nazmul/Tapash (whoever does best in NCL)

For Tests, Enamul Jr replaces Abdur Razzak, and Rajin replaces Mahmudallah. Someone from Hannan Sarkar and Nafees Iqbal may replace someone from Zunaed and Tamim in the Test squad if they (Hannan, NI) can put up some outstanding performances in NCL.

Aftab will make a good test cricketer if learns to curb his aggressiveness. Needs to be able to stay longer at the crease. I think if he plays in domestic or first class 3 and 4 day matches, he will develop the mental capacity, he is one player I would like to see become a good test player.

Zunaid is another young cricketer who can be groomed in a few years time.

Bangladesh has young talent, all it takes is grooming and preparation.

Too early to predict. They have a few months to really improve on their recklessness. They have to learn to use brains and wit to stand up to their opponents. This was completely lacking in this 20/20 tour. Ashraful is not leading his team the right way because as a brilliant guy, he lacks maturity, the team will fail if he fails, and he has failed quite a bit in this series. The captain leads from the front, and he has shown his recklessness with the bat, after making one brilliant innings, he fails completely. It saddens me to see such a talent fail so many times. He has such potential, but when he is batting he throws caution to the wind and throws his wicket away, and his team follows suit.
Unless Ashraful becomes a good captain, and very quickly, this team is going nowhere.
Maybe, 10 more days of boot camp will do them some good.

That is why he is 'Aloukik' . I can still remember that Phothom Alo ( Utpal In fact) branded him one of the so called best BD talent. We all know that most of the talents are very talented to disappoint our expectations.

The selectors seem to be very weak at statistics although Cricket and stats go hand in hand.

Let us leave the selector role to the Army and I am sure that the army will do much better job in selections than those lame duck bd selectors.

Probably because we aren't playing T20's in NZ. Kapali could make it to the reserve bench for the ODI squad, but Ashraful's going to have to use him as a part time bowler if he is to make it into the eleven in the event of constant failure of one of the regulars.
