** Everything about Our Clueless aka tarchira Team Managment & Selectors **
Discuss here everytime our team managment keep messing up team chemistry by picking wrong player in the playing XI.
Starting from todays match:
1) Picking nayeem in place shakib and playing him at 5
2) Not promoting riyad to 5 even though he performed reasonably well in there during WI series..

This is the problem with short series and lazy BCB not organising matches
Players are rusty and by the time they are in form series is over.
Also very hard to come back from behind.
Each series must be 5 test,, 7 ODI series

It was an okey innings... He wont get chance to recover later everyday and if cant maintain a good SR in a batting pitch i dont know what he will do in other pitches.. The way he batted earlier, its just unexpectable no matter what he did later.. Due to the failure of our pathetic batsman,he will get a freepass today..

This is why before the Test series I wanted NAeem to play, not Vijay.
Players should be picked based on their current form & the format where they suit well.
But picking players just for the sake of position & potential is silly, just because a batsman "Opens" and the other one doesn't usually "Open" we picked an off form Vijay instead of an inform NAeem.
Naeem in Tests would have scored atleast two fifties.
On the other hand I am not a Naeem fan in ODIs, but today he was really good the way he changed the gear( which was in a neutral position for a long time )

This is not the way.
Ami oray bhishon pochaisi when he was 1 (28). To bring it up to 70+ SR ... He has the goods. Very well played. Didn't give it up like others.

I think naeem did very well. Should have stayed till the end though.
But atleast he made it.count unlike rokibul who has got out so many times after his solid 5 from 35.

^ Considering todays situation, its an okey innings.. Okey maybe a good innings.. But,still that cant change the fact our team shouldnt have picked him in ODI instead of Test.. His starting was just horrible.. He wont be able to recover like today every now and then..

his a tour was magnificent, so far Dpl was ok..whith shakib out he was the ideal choice, i wanted him in the team, i was angry with him by they way he started, his start was terrible even with 3 batsman down..but in the end he did good, finished with a SR of 73 whis is very good after the way he started

Naeem was scheduled to bat at#7.Due to quick fall of wicket he was promoted. To me both decisions were good.

#1 - Naeem is the best replacement middle order bat we have, for Tests and ODIs. It wasn't surprising to see him replace Shakib, in fact he should play more often.
#2 - Eshob bole labh nai. Riyad is a bits and pieces player and he's lucky to be in the team, let alone bat at 5.

Not everyday he would come to crease 25/3. I witnessed a match against SL. Dilshan couldn't do jack. Jayawardene was playing a gem of an innings. Dilshan just blocking. Both ended up with a century. Later in the press conference Dilshan said had it not for Jaya he would have gotten out long time back. Jaya said, all he did is be a support on the tough times, till Dilshan could see the ball like a football. Things happen in the middle. In the beginning, Nayeem was playing every ball but to a fielder if you recall. He couldn't penetrate/pierce the field. Later on it was all good. If one contributes to a win that all it matters. He did up his average.

I don't see any place for Riyad in the middle or lower middle order in the team. The only place that I can think about him is opening. He definitely have the technique to play new balls. If he is willing to play there, try him for the next two matches.Anamul needs to be relived for 2 years. Otherwise no need to bother for him.

For the situation Naeem came in to and for not playing international cricket since the 4th ODI against the WI last year, I'd have to say this was a very good innings. I don't think it was a surprise at all to see his initial struggles. you could clearly see he was not up to speed against the Kiwi bowlers but well done to him for sticking it out and not getting himself out in that period. I could care less if he scored 1 out of his first 30 balls. It's the end result that counted.
Hope he can sustain the success. I always thought he was a good player. It was just about putting all his skills together and going out and performing.
