Default Does NZ have a Cricket fan forum?

.......? I just wanna see their reactions?

Had we lost to a lower ranked team...

We would have called for the
1) coach's head.
2) definitely would fry captain's as$.
3) would have already called players names and 14 generations relatives (choiddo gushti uddhar - lol)
4) BCB ....(choice of words)

Their fans react much better than ours.

Us fans are too emotional.

Cricket isn't a major sport in New Zealand and its fans are far more knowledgeable about the game that most of us are. As it happens with diehard fans of a minor sport anywhere, speaking as a hardcore lacrosse fan here, they tend to have a better idea about what they're watching and have more thoughtful things to say in the process.

Having very little idea about the nuances of a game yet posting a lot of passionate but stupid comments isn't the thing to do. We do that a lot, partially because we suck at every other sport on the global stage and hence have a lot of emotion riding on the fate of our National cricketers.

No wonder we have so many BD-dissing NRBs who have either never played cricket beyond the garage space, or been to a domestic game to assess a player within a qualitative context, or local copy/paste artists insisting on posting in atrocious English rather than Bangla in order to appear "(ish)smart", or local "eaparts" never seen in a domestic match, or with a clear understanding of what they're looking at when they do watch crikhyat, feel so PASSIONATELY about some players and the way they play. Alga matobbori is a Bangla phrase for reason.

Sohel - your horse is looking to be quite high. Perhaps you should get off before you injure yourself.

If cricket was marketed towards the chosen ones who only "understood" the game and made great technical analysis, then it would have died down ages ago as the audience would have comprised of a very low percentage for intellectural masturbation.

There is some NZ fan called Kiwi who is also a moderator on Pakpassion....

He typically has this arrogance when coming to play BD. First ODI he was just saying how NZ with 8 batsman will run over the BD bowlers. After the loss he blames it on the flat track.

Second ODI after the loss, he says ODIs should be abolished

Funny thing is he closes the topic a few moments after the games are over

you know what i used to get mad over these trolls, but WIndiefan has thought me a lesson, no matter what you do whatever the result is, unless its consistent win these trolls will never stop barking, even if you win for a long amount of period they will bark until nobody cares to fuel their bark. BD has only recently started to perform and that to in their playing terms, it'll take many more years for us to become the next SL and our critics will be more harsh then SL's ones. so it'll be long before these trolls stop barking

so i say meh and whatever and let them have all the chulkani, and let us enjoy!

^^^there is a reason why people say don't feed the trolls...
the more you get pissed or show a reaction to ludicrous posts or threads the more they will be encouraged. Just ignore and don't engage them when you know beforehand you will not have any productive discussion with them. Once they see nobody cares about their threads they will stop opening them or start to open them in a way a fair discussion is possible.
