Here's my question, is ATN Records in any way affiliated with ATN television? Taholey, Khaiseray!

Does anyone know whether any of the BCB Directors or high-ups are affiliated with ATN or Mahfuzur Rahman? It's interesting to see the increasing co-operation between the two parties. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a link.

if i am not mistaken, i read a couple of days ago in the daily star that ATN Records paid 65 lakhs although BCB was hoping for more.

If ATN Bangla telecast this it would be another disaster.
News would eat most of the match time.

News and ads, and focusing the cameras on various people(important) in the boxes who wants the whole of BD to see them.
But, I think that because these matches are being held in BD, it will be better run, remember that it was the first time a 20/20 was held in Sharjah and ATN crew had to fly there at the last moment, and the set up was not properly done.
Hopefully, BCB will have some input.

Maybe, this will happen eventually, but you still have to have teams like the IPL, but I dont think that BCB have the resources and skill like the BCCI, you need someone like Lalit Modi.

This will never happen in BD. The leagues will never merge. May be there will be three more leagues by the end of next year.

NCL t20 will get bigger if ICC allows the champion team to participate in champions league. The champion team will get big amount of money by participating in CL. So the owner of teams will spend more money to get a place in CL.

That is in the hands of BCCI (or more specifically Lalit Modi) not ICC.

is it? Now it makes sense why three IPL teams are playing where no team from Pak and BD(in this case blame is on BCB for not arranging a recognized t20 tournament domestically).

BCB is planning to launch BPL(Bangladesh Premier League) next year according to yesterday's report in PROTHOM ALO. It is said to be similar to IPL, but then what about NCL

the ncl t20 will convert into BPL.

this season the franchise are being sold for only one year. next year when BPL will come then the franchise will be sold again and this time for long term.

ncl will only have odi and fc. and bpl will be the national t20

Good idea. BCB should go all out to publicise the tournament and make it a success this year (or at least make it appear to be) so that they can attract bigger bids for the teams next year.

Also as someone said above a confirmation from BCCI that the champion will play in the Champions League at some point in the future would go a long way.

I think they are planning to catch the champions league. Not bad.

If that that's really a good move.

Assigning Icons is a bad idea. Look at the IPL. Only one icon has survived.
