Semi final or not, It will be great to see us beating Aus (it has been way too long since Cardiff) and India (lost too many close matches in recent times)..

I find it irritating how the format has been changed so that BD does not knockout any of the greats.
How are we meant to have an impact then ?

Easy there. One at a time.

Most didn't think we could beat Eng. Against SA and NZ, it was 50/50 for both games. And the results reflect it too, we won one and lost one. SL game got washed out, so that's too bad. But this WI game is all to play for. If we win it, then it sets up very nicely against Aus who cancelled tours against us twice!

So the 17th fixture against WI is all to play for.

Whether it is sports or politics, you have to beat the establishment and win.

BTW, the format may not be perfect but is it fair? Yes, it is. If we are unable to beat NZ, PAK, WI - do not fault the format.

Apart from the Afghan game which I feel is a 50-50, Bangladesh will not win any more games.

Windies we had a good chance, however the Taunton ground is small so expect a thrashing from West Indies when a certified Trundler like MP Shahib bowls.

India and Aus no chance. They are professional outfits.

Pak game is right at the end when results wont matter anymore. Expect us to lose that game as well.

Everybody talking about Taunton and Gayle/Russel Tons which may cause headache for BD captain (tontone pain?) but remember Fort Lauderdale was smaller.

I was very vocal on this forum about Mash joining politics due to apparent conflict on interest, but I like this guy. But some people here cannot stand him in the team. That is wrong.

Statistically, Mashrafe Mortaza has been one of the best bowlers for BD for last five years or so. He may not be a great tactician, but he has been our best captain and only after he retires, we will understand the value of his captaincy.

I believe Mash and Tamim and the rest of the team are working hard and I expect them to beat WI. We will hopefully beat AFG and may be one more team.

BTW, if I were captain, on any given day, I would still trust Mash more than Rubel, Taskin, or Shafiul.

We only need to win 4 out of the next 5. It’s very possible.

I guess it fluctuates. One or two wins and suddenly a team will be shot up.

West Indies
Australia
India
Afghanistan
Pakistan

In the last 4 years we have won a series against all of these teams except Australia who doesn't play ODI series with us because we are 'not good enough' however we have drawn a test series. We can beat 4 out of 5 of them again if we play well.

After winning against South Africa and almost winning against New Zealand we must keep believing and give everything in reaching the semi finals. The most crucial phase is coming up and we must win vs West Indies.

We have seen enough bad days before , the good days will come now or someday in future

Would be very difficult. One game at a time.

Let's win the match tomorrow first and then revisit.

5-0 seems quite impossible. But 4-1 is possible, athough tough. I can even guess with which team we probably gonna lose..

Best of Luck, Bangladesh.

Go Tigers Go!! Hunt down your deers (Ind), boars (Aus), cows (Afg), mooses (West) and others too if possible. Yum yum!!
