They should kick out Liton and Soumya and replace them with Yasir Ali and Shadman Islam.

India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, England - any four among these five. My bet.

^^ I am hopeful too. BD will show such dominance that even umpiring shenanigans won't be able to prevent our win against India. Dadas better take note now.

I am not trying to be judgmental, weaker BD teams were able to beat stronger Eng and Aus sides here in UK. Outside NZ we are kind of a nemesis to NZ. What about WIndies/Srilanka? Recent past tells me we rule even in their home. Saffers are a tough bunch so is Indians. So, I will hand those two out. While ruling against such strong teams, should we now get humiliated by those AFG hacks, nope.

Finally the other team, can't even beat Finch's AUS at home, and yes we beat them too one of their strongest with a much weaker team here in England

Why stop at the semis?

Go to the final and win it all!

What did Afridi say about BD's prospect in the WC? I am seeing lots of people trolling him on FB for an alleged comment.

If we qualify for Semis, other teams must be in a sh*ttier situation than ours. Been over a decade, can't find a decent opener to partner Tamim. Still getting those once in a blue moon innings from the juniors. If Seniors don't perform, juniors can't locate their head from their arse. Let's not forget the Great team management/planning/Fast bowling coach. The list just goes on ...

if we have a full strength side, we will most likely win 3 to 5 games:

we will beat 3 of AFG/WI/SL/PAK and then get 1 win from the top 5 teams.

That would be a par performance. If we do well we will win 5 games, if we fall off the mark 3.

Just look at the trend...

1999: Performed above expectation (Won against Pakistan)
2003: Performed below expectation (Lost to Canada, Kenya)
2007: Performed above expectation (Won against India, South Africa)
2011: Performed below expectation (Couldn't get past the 1st round in home, 58 and 78 all out)
2015: Performed above expectation (Reached QF for the 1st time)
2019: ...

Looking at other teams' strengths and our over-reliance on 5 seniors, I predict we'll have 2-3 close matches, might win 1 match and will get knocked out in 1st round

The pitches in England will not be like UAE or India and this is not T20s, we love to overrate this team. They will at best cause some upsets in one or two matches.
I would not call it upset if they beat teams like South Africa/New Zeland. Afghanistan has got a few world-class players. They can turn the matches around any time.

Afghanistan is no push over. Not sure why alot of people here thinks otherwise. You're definitely right about them turning matches around.

Nobody here thinks they are pushovers, infact people here think they have more chance of making the Semi Finals of an 'ODI' World Cup than the BD team who are ranked 7th in ODIs.
