Default ***The Official Yasir Ali Thread***

This kid is seriously knocking on the national team's door for a debut.

His latest scores with the bat: 70, 66, 56, 45, 20, 112, 94, 64, 1*, 60

From memory he did play a few BPL games, might have to watch highlights to see what his batting style was. But stats show that he primarily a test/odi player.

Looks impressive. Looks like a strong lad too. But last time in BPL saw him bit fat though

Said in BCL thread recently that he must be close to the test team, does need to convert more but he’s certainly young and a very consistent performer.

Been in good form but needs to work on his fitness, doesn't have the fitness of an international sportsman.

Really excited to see this guy to make debut. Along with Shadman Islam he could be the future of our batting in all formats

78 from 48 today, this youngsta keeps on making runs in t20s as well even though we all have marked him down as a regular in test team in near future

Won't do any worse than Sabbir for sure , Steve Rhodes you watching?

Can't believe that child molester who scored 60 runs in 8 games got picked ahead of Yasir

58 FC average in last three years - this guy is well above some one season BPL hype

Good on FC and limited over domestic cricket, put him on the New Zealand plane as Mominul will flop in the test series.

Why the selectors not picking him? He is 25 already. Don’t waste time. He is miles matured, ready than most others were before they debuted. I feel Bangladesh cricket losing out by not having him in the squad.

Wtf is this ariful doing in ODI squad? Yasir Ali couldve been selected instead.

Like I said. This guy suits number 3. Very solid, compact player.

- Scoring runs in First Class Cricket
- Scoring runs in BPL
- Scoring runs in age level cricket vs other countries teams

And not many can do well in both longer format and T20s at the same time.

He deserves to be taken seriously

Another good innings.
Don't know how he will do in internationals but he deserves a chance.
