The Cowboys 17. The starred are probably starters. Cowboy fans are asked to comment on a line up.

Negatives:
Too many openers (tharanga, Guptil, Dilshan, Wade)
Nathan Mcullum and Ontong are a waste
No genuine all rounders hence no real balance

positives:
Pace department looks good
Strong Middle Order options
Swann is an interesting choice...

It's t20 / I'm expecting a sustained and intense batting. Note the the combination of high averages AND strike rates. I'm expecting very high scoring innings.

Very few people concentrated on that. You're one of them. So, I think your team is pretty good. I tried to concentrate on the stats too with my selection of players.

Does the simulation differentiate between stats of T20 Internationals and domestic T20s? or would a domestically successful player with better average trump over international players with lesser average?

Curious to know who you will play at 7,8

I'm curious too - hoping for a few wu matches to adjust. I may also experiment with Yusuf Abdulla - he shows so much promise.

I think there are some great picks in the team-

Eoin Morgan
Graeme Swann
JP Duminy

Nathan Mccullum was master pick IMO; he is more than valuable with the bat and also fills up a spinner role in the team.

This team seems pretty ordinary, Bowling unit the weakest and decent batting.

Thanks. I was very proud of getting Nathan McCullum - for precisely the reason you say. Jadukar was not impressed. I am not sure why Duminy was available when I got him. On top of his batting - he can be handy for a few overs and is one of the best fielders there is. He has been compared to Jonty many times.

Done. You and your friends get an entire box plus all the brisket you can eat at Rudy's on 183. You also get free meals at Chuey's where you can party with the Bush girls.

First round home game baby. The chiefs will be scalped by the cowboys.

Looks like for the first game, Cowboys are up against one of the strongest team (KC Chiefs) in the competition

Have you tried out the simulator yourself to figure out what parameters give the players an edge?
Or will all this be done behind doors and only results will be published?

Don't have access to the simulator. I might go with an experimental line-up.

Here's what I am thinking of in terms of line-up

Guptil
Tharanga
Dilshan
Wade
Ingram
Morgan
Duminy
McCullum
Philander
Johnson
Swann

Whether Misbah gets a look in for the warm-up, I'm not sure. I might give Swann a rest and bring in young Abdulla.

Morgan for captain.
Dilshan as VC
Wade as wkt

^^ Three specialist bowlers. You seemed to have a lot of confidence on Nathan Mcullum. The stats are not bad

We will bat them out of the game. This is for the wu. We shall see how chiefs do in the wu.
