Pakistan did well, I must say!
They passed 49 in the 2nd innings - that's their moral victory!!

South africa owned Pakistan, and Pakistan always beats hell out of us. So I guess it just shows how crap we are as a test team.

hahaha shame Pakistan. Played even worse than minnows. If these kind of results happen frequently now amongst the bigger teams then I see no reason why they can avoid us. BUT in this case, I'm just glad Bangladesh are not playing teams like South Africa yet because most likely we will get owned and get all sorts of criticism. so phewww....
Also just realised this Pakistan team is very very old and will eventually have to replace a lot of their players with inexperience young ones so looks downhill for them good luck!
But I wonder how many of our batsman can seriously bat on these kind of tracks? sadly only a few. Our domestic structure is pretty poor and need to play on different pitches instead of slow, low, flat tracks.

I think Pakistan went up the learning curve quite well in the 2nd innings. Now they should get a 3rd opener in and show us a good fight in the 2nd test. Jamshed, Shafiq and Mesbah demonstrated great resolve against unarguably the best attack in the world.

2nd test otw here. Pakistan playing much better atm considering their measerable 1st test performance. They managed handle successfully early collapse with 100 run partnership by Yuonis & Asad from shaky 33/4 situation. imo if they manage to reach 250+ from here, should be consider as a major success after recovery.

Pakistan chances are lessened by the omission of Junaid, no matter whether they score 250 or 350.

an honest DRS error
ICC's #1 allrouder Kallis facing bawl from PCB #1 bowler Ajmal...
tbh I was hoping for something controversial similar event to come, especially when Pakistan is little bit better posed here and Ajmal is connected with it... ok its a DRS drama again. detail
Everyone knows what Kallis capable of and how Ajmal bowls, such key wicket is enough to change the course of the game and hence the result.

I think with Ajmal's 6er performance yesterday Pakistan should feel more hopeful for a fight back test in this series, although end of day 3 scoreline seems quite even atm.

Pakistan lost by 4 wickets and the numero uno status seems to be following the proteas in 2013 also.

Asian teams suck so badly, in so many decades so called great players like sachin, imran, wasim, kapil, dhoni etc couldnt win a single series in SA or Australia. It's possible that in a decade or two we could be the first to do so

this series has 3 of the best bowlers going around today, steyn, philander and ajmal, possibly the 2 best pacers at current and the best spinner. although i reckon they should have played junaid khan.

Junaid khan was injured in the Tour game... He looks to be yet another excellent find for Pakistan.

Pakistan is such a crap. A debutant bowler takes 7 wickets at Centurion
