Oh I forgot to mention Rabeed Imam.

He was by hotel lobby alone waiting on players. But no one recognized him. I walk up to him and said Bhaiya can I take a pic? He said “amar shathe??” He acted very surprised. I said I followed him during his journalistic times. He smiled and took a pic. Very nice guy. Humble and friendly. BCB is lucky to have him.

I was gonna mention BC to him but I wasn’t sure if it was him or Isam that used to post here.

Great pics, and thanks for sharing Mufi. Excitement from the game is yet to sink in :-) It was a wonderful experience being there in the stadium in USA and watching BD cricket team win in a T20 game over Windies! Couple that - being there with fellow BC folks (Tausif, Naim, One World bhai etc), and my 7 yr old who enjoyed the game, BD folks, stadium food and, of course ice cream She kept saying - I see only BD people here. Is this Bangladesh hahaha. Oh we were on live TV when Shakib hit his first 4 in 2nd T20

Oh if I knew players were staying in Marriots, I would have stayed in that one instead of the Marriot by the beach :-( What a miss!

what did you do Mufi or Rifat?

While what he says is understandable but it is equally wrong to engage with fans like that regardless of the situation.

having said that, we do have a lot of third class fans (regardless of location) and i probably would side with shakib if the fan lashed out on him for not giving him a selfie pic.

Nice pics Mufi, thanks for sharing. What a wonderful experience it was watching the Tigers play live. Last time I saw them was back in 2015 when India was touring and Fizz got 6 wickets. The experience was almost the same with so many Bangladeshi fans around! It felt like I was in SBNCS again. And being able to enjoy with some of our BC members (Ahsan bhai, One World bhai, Naim bhai, Rifat bhai etc.) was even better. Terrific atmosphere and result overall.

Already looking forward to the next time they come
