Should Shakib be captain?
Hi
Shaqib had very good success as captain. Should he be back as captain?

If its up to me, I would bring different captains for different format. And Sakib would be one of them for limited overs (ODI or T20).

পছন্দ দুইঃ
ভদ্র + সরল + মেন্দা
I would prefer choice one any day for our cricket team ...

for limited overs u need some one more agressive, who can take decisions quickly to good effect.
Mushy is not really doing that, so I wouldn't mind if Sak becomes our ODI capt.
At the same time we had many wins under Mushy, so ...
bottom line is I'm confused.

Mushy was not that bad. What I feel is Mushy is unable to control his personal likings and disliking as a captain which eventually creates the issues.

Yes true
first of all Sakib talks very little, and when he talks its as if he knew what the question will ne.
Mushy oj the other hand talks a lot, hence he says things that he didnt have to.
As I said before Mushy is like a class captain who will gibe nalish to class teacher abt students who are troublemakers.
Apart from that Mushy is more inspiring than Sakib
I remember how many were unhappy with Sakib, regarding grouping etc.
The truth is when a team doesnt win everyone or everything looks wrong.
Today Mushy's captncy was praised by Arun Lal and Atahr.
What I woupd say is give Mushy more time because I am not too sure how better Sakib would be.
The only thing saving Mushy's captaincy is his very good batting form and also our performance before Srl odi series.

I used to feel this way. Unfortunately, pretty much all the positives you mention were true in the past, but is no longer the case. He is on a 9-match losing streak. Most matches lost almost solely due to captaincy and sometimes nepotism.

I think at this point better option wouldbe to fix him rather than a new captain, dont know who will fix him, may be senior cricketers like Atahar Ali or Bulbul, today the commies were asking why didnt he use Zia against Pak.

And that he is horrible at strategy and tactics. Also, he cannot respond when things don't go according to plans.
Other than that, he is an all-time great captain.

Shakib should be the captain at least for ODI and T20 hands down.
For Test, if the choice was between him and Mushy, I have to go with Shakib again.
Mushy can solely focus on batting for now. He has been under a lot of stress lately.

Did you see his jersey the other day in the game?
It said, "sakib", lol. The lineup in the TV showed "Shakib".

Some leaders are good in crisis - and only in crisis - and some are not.
E.g, FDR was Bubba was not - Bubba could have done something indelible in history - like FDR did - but did not.
what material is Shakib?

He was not very impressive the first time around. Has he learned how to work with the others? I don't know...
Clinton actually did quite a bit, especially when you consider that he had to deal with Newt. He is the only president to have a surplus budget in decades.

The question is who gives us better chance to win as Captain Shaqib/Mushfiq? It is all about winning. Win makes the fans feel good. I hate to loose like all.

even though it's very painful right now but i still believe Mushy should stay as captain. He is in his 20s. So with time he will get better. Hoping to be sooner than later In sha Allah.

We should follow SL in rotating captain . They have been rotating different captain for different formats and are getting positive results . If Mushi was in SL , he would have kicked out of captaincy long time ago .

Not really. If Mushi was in SL, he would actually be coached and trained for the captaincy role.
Tactical ability is not innate or something that one must learn by themselves. They also need support from the coach. Mathews has the support of three former captains-Sanga, Mahela and Dilshan. All these days he was learning from one of the worlds best coach-Graham Ford.
Then you have Marvan Atapattu as the batting coach, another former captain. Chaminda Vaas as the bowling coach who too would have his fair share of tactical inputs. Ruwan Kalpage is a very competent fielding coach-once managed our High Performance Academy.
Now you tell me who is in a better environment or situation to lead or learn as a captain!

At this moment there is no choice but to keep Rahim as captain. Shakib/Tamim should just concentrate on performing.

SERIOUSLY guys, is there any effing doubt? Do you not see him PLAY? The warrior trumps the beyadob any day in my book. Sure things won't be pleasant, but there'll be hell to pay if we lose until he forces us to win again. Rough but oh so good!

I dont know who should be the captain but Mushi should not remain the captain. He pissed me off so much after this match. Has no brains whatsoever. Why keep bowling his useless fast bowlers? Especially why bowl Reza and release the pressure? Why bowl an injured RUbel? Why keep making the useless Al-Amin field in fine-leg? Why do they keep smiling like idiots just because they qualified despite losing so badly against a team like Hong Kong? Even a team like Hong Kong has better fast-bowlers than us? Afghanistan fast bowlers are also way better. God so pissed at the moment. We will be slaughtered in the next round.

Oh please yes
Mushiq should work on his keeping and batting only. He is good at inspiring the players but cannot strategize. Bringing someone like Reza to release the pressure was arguably the biggest hiccup i have seen.

Ohh that Alamin placement is one thing I wanted to bring up. Just a small example of a brain dead captain.

I think there was too much disagreement between players the first time around. It could happen again if Shakib is captain. But he is a much better strategist than Mushfiq.
