Default we badly need a pace bowling coach

Is bcb trying to find a bowling coach? if they are trying,i think they have to make it quick.seriously, look at our pace bowlers and zim pace bowlers.they are way ahead of us.our pace bowlers were pathetic.there was no pace, no swing ultimately no plan.we are getting worse day by day .safiul had improved a lot under ian pont.he could swing it both ways.where is his swing? i think without the wicket of moyo by robiul in 2nd innings, our pacers did not get any wicket with good ball.but look at jarvis ,vitori.how good they are with new ball.even mpofu bowled way better than any of our pace bowlers.we cannot give excuse of sahadat's injury.if a test nation depends upon 1 fast bowler than they should quit playing test match.we have to think seriously because we will not play in bd all time and sakib will not take 5 wickets in every test match. a good bowling coach is badly needed.heath streak is the bowling coach of zim and look how their pace bowlers are improving under his guidence.their pacers have the ability to take 20 wickets in a test match.our pace bowlers are just not any near of them.

more than a coach, we need swing and seam friendly pitches where players can practice and play regularly and shun their skills

It we are to stay in test cricket, we need to improve our pace bowling; period! The sooner team management can identify and start working on it, better for our test cricket; otherwise we are very close to give it away.

Adding to that, we badly need a good FC structure and regional cricket associations. Even Zimbabwe developed their FC structure recently by developing franchise system which plays an important role in their recent development.

This. Without pace friendly pitch in BD domestic we will never get a good pace attack.

Losing Ian Pont was the biggest mistake by BCB

We DESPERATELY NEED A BOWLING COACH. Rubel & Shafi barely bowled deliveries that had quite a good amount of swing. Whereas Chiggy,Mpofu even bowled in impressive line & length & with good swings too. If we are to lose this test match it's because of poor bowling. That's obvious. Hoping to see a bowling coach appointed for our team asap.

And bear in mind that Zimbabwe has had Heath Streak as their bowling coach for almost 2 years for now. Their franchises have coaches like Jason Gillespie and had Alan Donald. These players definitely improved the mindset of their pace bowlers and have found a decent bowler of Vitori. Mpfu used to get beaten left and right by BD batsmen and now he is even bowling decent lines.

The need for a bowling coach instead of Sarwar Imran cannot be emphasized enough.. I hope Stuart Law realizes this and asks BCB to get someone onboard asap..

Sarwar Imran was appointed as a temporary bowling coach of BD for the Zim tour. We are likely going to get a high profile bowling coach after the Zim tour is done with hopefully.

we need a combination of sporting wicket and pace bowling coach for all the divisional teams. It doesnt have to be a foreign coach. Have the local coaches get proper training and then have them take care of the divisional pacers.... For national team I would prefer someone like Mr. Pont....

i think failure in this test match were combination of both ability and proper guidance.before the series i thought that safiul and rubel will get through zim batting lineup.but they flopped big time in a decent bowling pitch.

Only mashrafee (when he was fully fit) had the physical attributes, pace and accuracy had as a world class bowler. The current bowlers are more like book ends filling the gap as a team has to show that they have pace bowlers.

Partly true. Its like competitive advantage in economics. Bangladesh have an advantage in producing spinners. Yet we try to play mediocre pacers who you know from the beginning will have limited impact. Instead we should be playing more spinners-and the right ones for the right format of the game. Razzak is not suitable for test cricket!

I have a solution... why don't we hire 11 coaches and let them play on our behalf?

No bowling coach can fix these loosers. These pacers don't qualify to play test cricket. They are worse than kenya, scotland and ireland pacers.
