They changed akram for 4 and bulbul for 5. So its Bulbul now. Probably Mr. Shahriar got too excited.

Default It is Aminul Islam

Aminul Islam has come at the crease - not Khaled Mashud after the rain had stopped.

Now only 45 overs is remaining in the day. Lets see what the rest of our batsman do now. Previously, before lunch and rain started, there were 64 odd overs remaining in the day.

By the way, Jayasuriya had come off and Dilhara Fernando is back to bowling again.

Default At last Akram is out

At last the SriLankan bowlers could get Akram Khan out. He has scored 20 runs but scored them IN 78 BALLS.

To me, he was trying to play THE INNINGS OF HIS LIFE. I have not seen him bat so patiently (if you forget about his 10 runs off 50 balls in South Africa that is).

If only he could remain unbeaten at the end of the day!

Bangladesh is now 9 down for 161 runs.

Default BD All out for 161

Bangladesh is now all out for 161 with a minimum of 17.2 overs remaining of the day.

Alamgir Kabir was the last man to be out for a duck.

Default BD has failed

Bangladeshi bowlers have failed to take any wicket on Day 1, first innings of the Sri Lankans.

555/5 declared looks to be on the horizon.

Default Not that it matters

With all due respect to manju, why was he sent in at number 9 when almost everyone knows that poor Manju bhai is afraid to bat.

Default One practice match ?

Haire, I thot you at least would understand my pain. I knew of the practice match (85 ball stand by the MAN) but I wouldn't have sent him in just based on that.

BD team selections are like the poem we read in school back in BD...

Oi niyechhe oi nilo ja
Kaan niyechhe chil e
Tari pechhon morchhi ghure
Amra kojon mile...

Default New BD Selection Committee

BD has a new selection committee - the world's first remote based group, based mostly out of the USA (a non test playing nation).

Things can only look up.

-Sincerely,

Your much maligned BCB rep

Default Sarca what ?

What's a Sarcasm ? What kind of a CASM or ASM is it ?

Heck, amader na, most folks who oahev any sense can outdo BCB in their selections. It's not something we decided on a given day, we have seen BCB make one mistake after another and they were pretty obvious mistakes too. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
