Looks like 300 can be chased down easily on this pitch. 272 was far from enough, especially with our bowling. Our starting and finishing both sucked.

If Tamim fails in the next game as well then he should be dropped for the 3rd ODI and likely the T20Is and ODIs against the West Indies. It's just unfair to hold a spot for that long and continue to fail. In the mean time he's taking away opportunities for the likes of Shamsur and Imrul who are more deserving at the moment.

It obviously doesn't make me happy saying that. Actually it's pretty sad. No doubt he's our best opener to date but he can't hold his spot anymore just because he's Tamim.

That was a bad call but what did he do before his dismissal to indicate he was going to do anything different from his recent string of abject failures? NOTHTHINGGG!!!

Drop him for the team's sake.

Shamsur is a better player than him atm. I would also not mind IK at this moment.

They won't drop him, his uncle is in the BCB remember and he'll brew up a ****storm over even the tiniest though of it, plus they don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

it's a good opportunity to give 1 or 2 others more international exposure before the WC, that's the way i'm choosing to look at it at least. honestly having players like imrul, shamsur, shuvagata, sabbr etc on the bench isn't going to help them or us any when it comes WC time, better they play now and have some experience.

Tamim re drop ke korbey? Still Razzak continues to play! Darts on leg stump and legside wides. Razzak should have been dropped 2 years ago and still he plays and even gets picked for Test matches

Anamul ki boshe boshe dim partechilo naki? Even with his limitation in skills, he manages to keep an avg of 30+ unlike fat boy here who has all the shots in the world.

yeah he was playing so confidently. Middling the ball, leaving well, and looking for singles. NO. He barely connected anything, got beaten few times, and played like it was a Test match. You can see he was extremely nervous. Bad decision or not, he was going to be dismissed very soon.

I'm fine with either tbh. The way he's playing, he doesn't deserve another chance. Thing is Shamsur hasn't done very well either this year in his chances in limited overs.

At least Shamshu will make 1 run. Tamim will make 0

haha ya that's why I'm not that excited to bench Tamim because the alternative isn't very good. With Tamim he gives you a chance to give you a match winning innings which I'm not sure Shamsur can. Man it feels like I'm talking about Ash here but unfortunately Tamim has gotten to Ash's level of inconsistency and not even as good as a match winner.
