Default ***150kph/93mph Bowlers***

How many bowlers have you seen that bowl above 150kph/93mph+?

Do you have any favourite current or past?

Quote:
I have only started to follow cricket from 2003/4 onwards, and I use to like Shoaib Akhtar, had great pace, and his short balls were quite deadly/dangerous. I believe, after seeing Jofra Archer recently, he has the skills and pace to match those qualities.
Thread is primarily to follow current and upcoming 150kph/93mph+ bowlers

Waqar. Not only he bowled fast, it swang and crushed on the toes.

Didn't see Waqar bowl, was he a speed star? I thought it was more reverse swing with him? not like express 150+ bowler.

Ohhhh!!!! He was a treat on his prime. Nasty speed. Mean bouncer as well.

He was quickest during his time but radarless. The WI flag barrier on speed is Marshall. He generated the speed from his thighs.

England are a real threat with that Jofra Archer. Can change the game with one delivery.

Yeah that guy is a genuine star in the making

Absolute pace, made our batsman very uncomfortable. I think will trouble most WC batsman.

Waqar was deadly with the reverse swing. Coach of Sylhet sixers as well.

I remember a tour match where Shohaib Akhatar was using some mighty pace deliveries to Ashraful at Worcestershire's stadium. Ashraful kept dispatching them to the boundary.

At one point Shohaib jokingly was shaking Ashraful's helmet. It was Moodys last game as coach that day too.

I remember the stupid presenter called our team Pakistan () and SHohaib its BANGLADESH MAN!

Waqar averaged almost 6 wickets per game in a test before his injury. 190 like in 30+ tests.

There was a Sri Lankan Ravindra Pushpakumara who was their fastest bowler till Malinga, bowled a bit in mid 90s including the 96 World Cup. If my memory serves me right, he touched 150 , and would bowl in the early to mid 140s

Didn't see Thompson, only heard on radio live match. He has a delivery clocked 160+. I saw Andy Roberts bowl in a test match on TV. He wasn't in his prime then yet very fast. I think his top speed clocked in a match to 159+.

There was a time where the top bowlers of the world would come together and bowl as fast they could. Thompson won it. Imran was in it as well. There may be a Youtube video on this.

Bond, Malinga, Edwards, Sami, Srinath, Shoaib all clocked 150+.

Wesley Hall. The great WIan bowler before Roberts and Co. Batsmen feared him.

As bowlers have stated only Thomson and Khan went full pelt, others saw it as a bit of fun

Thompson used to run in bowl full tosses and used to bowl no balls in these sessions

As for now 150+ I have seen

Archer
Woods
Ferguson
Milne
Starc
