The Marshall Ayub Thread
Marshall Ayub has been an intriguing prospect, but this season he has truly come out of his shell. Unless the Central Zone declares early, he has a chance to score a triple century. He might be included in the SL squad, but I personally would like him to get some more A team experience before playing tests.
We might have found a reliable #3 or #4 for tests. (His limited over SR is low.) BCB needs to make sure that he is brought along properly. We don't want to rue another prospect being destroyed due to improper handling.

I considered the option to rename the "Marshall Ayub Watch" thread to "The Marshall Ayub Thread." However, IMHO, the "Watch" (value as a prospect) and the "The" (when no longer a prospect) threads should be separate, because they show the history of a player's development. Thus, Marshall Ayub needs a thread of his own as he is shedding his prospect status.

Red hot Marshall !
So heartwarming to see a youngman who is capable of scoring big tons. His previous huge partnership with Ashraful and this ongoing one with Mehrab will not only increase his confidence in his own ability but, inshallah, will become a habit for him to score big consistently. Bores well for Bangladesh FC cricket. Obviously, Marshall needs to work harder to become an international class. Cannot just be satisfied with such a purple patch but needs to keep on keepin' on. Wish the lad all the best!
Oh! Hope M & M breaks the FC world record, tomorrow!

Resuming the day on 95, Marshal remained not out on 251, a 323-ball innings that saw 27 fours and three sixes during his 323-ball essay. Now he was looking towards his maiden triple hundred. “The first few overs in the morning session will be very important and I must play cautiously in those overs. Definitely I'm looking for the triple hundred,” said Marshal. http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=264536

The team could allow him the opportunity to break Raqibul's 313. However, if the ball swings in the morning, they should declare to try to get some early wickets.

And both dabba-marring.
And now you have that boy who can't spell his own name following his master (avg 39 vs avg 36 in a league where the top scorer averages 100+).

Marshall is also following them but we expect he won't show consistent like those two guys in international level.

This should end all the name speculation and discussion.
