Default Substitute Player

Isnt the 12th man the only choice for substitute fielder?

This caught my eyes...

RP Arnold c sub (Fahim Muntasir) b Manjural Islam 25 48 25 4 0

*ST Jayasuriya c sub (Mohammad Ashraful) b Enamul Haque 145 214 164 13 6

I guess you can replace as many player as you want then. And the 12th man is a meaningless position!!!

Default Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You caught it all right but I guess the Lankans figured it won't hurt either way. (unless ICC changed the rules on us)

Default Hannan Sarkar was injured sometime

From the TV commentators, (My Cable TV is back today, and I could say yesterday's highlights) I heard that Hannan Sarkar had hit his hands (Right hand - fingers somewhere, can't say for sure - but the bandage was all over his right hand's 3 or 4 fingers) and when he was out today for only 1 run, the TV showed his hand.

I didn't know of this until I saw the TV, I mean nobody in papers said anything about it.

So, maybe he was off the field most of the time, and maybe Ashraful was the other (2nd) substitute fielder.
