The fact that one is a former cricketer and the other is and experienced chairman sounds encouraging. I'm supposing I'm the first to find this news out.

Having SK there is a HUGE step in the right direction, if he's duly empowered to do what he thinks is necessary.

He should also save us from Ata's increasingly Paikkafied parroting of typical phrases, and do some play-by-play over at ESPN.

Manush'ta amar one of the favorite player chilo. Didn't understand why he retired early. The other day he was doing 120% chamchami of the Indian team while commentating. I guess he is a good prospect for our national asembly. jathey pura bangali.

His 78* against Sri Lanka will be remebered always.

His other activities will be remembered for an entirely different set of reasons.

He would have walked into the current team as an opener any day had he been ten years younger. But I can't stand his commentary - I wish he'd just shut up and leave us alone.
