national team players' income question
Ok, i know that the BCB has a 3 tier contract system for the national players. it seems most boards go with the 3-tier approach.
my questions are:
1) does a contract give a player a guaranteed monthly income (i.e 12 monthly checks per year) regardless of whether they play or not? for examples sake suppose JO is on the 2 year contract. but suppose he only plays 50% of Bangladesh's ODI matches, and thus lets say that we have Asia cup in april, but JO doesn't play at all in Asia cup. does he still get paid for that month of april?
i guess the shortest way to rephrase my question is this: are match fees (i think its $1000 USD per ODI and $1500 USD per Test) the only compensation for the players or does the BCB pay players monthly too regardless of whether they are selected to play or are fit?
do players get match fees + fixed monthly income or is just match fees only?
2) what are the 3 income brackets? and how much are the match fees for ODIs and Tests?

Bashar used to get around 90,000 per month + Match Fees. He earned more money as he was the captain.
Ashraful, Rafique & Mashrafe used to get around 35-40,000 per month + Match Fees.
I don't know about others.
Source: I don't know. I read it in some news early this year.

I thought A grade players make 60 grand a month for the period of their contract, whether they play or not. Not too sure about match fees, but overall an A grade player would *probably* make a bit more than a hundred grand, with players like Ashraful making more than that through sponsorships/contracts.
Some of the big shots make good money in domestic cricket too - 500,000 to 700,000 per season, which comes to around 50 grand a month merely from the Dhaka ODI league.
B and C grade players probably get paid in the 40's/30's/20's, with match fees and other domestic earnings on top of that.

The idea was to make the players feel less insecure. Before the grade system, suppose a player was getting 1.5 lakh taka per match. After the grading was introduced, he will paid a monthly salary but the match fees would be reduced to (say) 75,000 taka.
If the players had only the match fees, and injury can severely affect their income, and they would be tempted to play hiding their injuries or return before the injuries are healed (read this about another country, but the principle should be the same everywhere).

Who are this "we" you are talking about? (mondo hoi na)
The answer is 'NO'. You are not allowed unless she approves and you be impartial.

Can we marry two at the same time so that there is no "She" to take approval?
Now to be impartial....thats a tricky business.

You may be right about ODI but for tests I think most countries including west Indies get paid more than S5000 US PER TEST MATCH thus close to or bit more than $1000 per day.

I dont think that the West Indian cricketers get so much money for playing Test matches, who will pay them this kind of money?
My thinking is that contracted players get a monthly salary from their board whether they play or not, remember, this is a job and they are being paid to play cricket for their country. Match fees, awards etc are extras.

they should get 3/4 lakh taka per month if they perform. more if they beat top class teams constantly. its a tough job!
