Teenage pace sensation Rubel Hossain and young all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad are set to make debuts in the first Test of the two match Test series against West Indies at St Vincent which starts today. Bangladesh have named the same playing XI that faced the West Indies A team in the only tour match of the series.

Alhamdulillah! excellent news...i have been awaiting for Mahmudullah(my 4th fav player ) to debut in Tests...there is no better opportunity than this for him to shine...

Good luck to Rubel and Mahmudullag. But IMO, Rubel's debut is a bit too soon. Mash must use him wisely. We don't want a repeat of what happened to Mash himself during our first NZ tour.

Rubel should utilize this opportunity of bowling against relatively weak batting lineup. he couldnt ask more than tht. A perfect debut match.

CI mentioned Ash handed test caps to those two. Can anyone verify that? If so why? Is it because he has played the highest number of tests in the squad? I thought the captain does the honor.

i saw it and ash did hand the test caps to rubel and riyad.
