don't know how bad that is for the bowling unit, but must have been hard for their fielding ;-)

shocked and lost for words. Unbelievable knock!

Why does Isam bhai have to be so negative.

Vincent and Nafees put together an unbroken 197-run opening stand, a world record for the first innings in a Twenty20 game, and pumped some much needed life into a dull tournament.

Century! Alpha male of alpha male. He joins the handful of elite few. Unlike Tamim he is not technically sound nor gifted with hand-eye; and his 10+ runs overshadowed much robust, fearless and controlled innings by Vincent. Nafees played a lot of loose shots and that is precisely what was much needed. He seemed to have taken a bong rip before the match and he wasn't worried of making mistakes nor he got hung over near-catches or misses. That is probably a gift many players have to develop: the gift of staying relaxed and let bygones pass instead of sulking over a bad over or so.

LOVED his acknowledgement to his family and kids for inspiration. He was very professional in the mid-game interview saying only half of the game was done and didn't let his 100 get to his head, while at the same time in Isam's interview divulging sincerely what it means to him as it was totally unexpected.

As Vincent pointed out, for guys with smaller built they have to work even more as they cannot just wallop balls all over the park.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. And wishing him all the best and a first double in ODI to come. Then again, God works in mysterious ways and we may never know how He will pen his next script.

Shahriar is the conductor and cricket is his orchestra.

SN probably deserves another look in the limited overs setup. But to say that about Tamim is simply nto true. He hit 4 straight 50s in teh AC, something no BD player has ever done. He scores 50s in pretty much every series we play. His only problem is he hasn't kicked on with hundreds and big hundreds. Prolly smoking too much.

I think both Nafees and Tamim can be in the National team so no need to compare them here :P
