Default BD U-15 opening match result

BD U-15 team lost their opening match against the Sri Lanka Schools under 15 team. The game was played yesterday. (3rd May)

Results:
BD U-15: 123 in 23.1 overs
(Humayun Kabir 33, Ashik Rehman 27)

Sri Lanka Schools under 15: 124 for 8 in 40.3 overs
(Humayun Kabir 2 for 14)

We were playing too agressive.. 123 in 23 overs is a little to much as SL got 124 for 8 in 48 overs.... Still BD did ok. We were close.

at least they're dong it at an age below 15.

BD U-15 is going to play against the Malaysian team at the De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa today.

humm.
looks like our players just went their and just played a few good shots and came back. whereas the srilankas took their time to play, which looks like they are very experienced. but nonetheless it was a close match so i wont blame the U15 team too much because first of all they are playing outside the country in a completely different condition with hardly any supporters i guess. hopefully they learnt a lot from this match.

Update:

Bangladesh U-15 team will meet Sri Lanka Schools Team in the final of the Invitation International Triangular tournament tomorrow (Saturday) at the De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa, Sri Lanka..

The earlier match between BD U-15 and the Malaysian U-15 team was abondoned due to rain. In the other match, Sri Lanka Schools Team beat the Malaysian U-15 team by 39 runs.

Howbout our kids ? They won for 109 runs what a victory which is way better than last defeat against their rookie . Our players are growing up ........

You know what they say. Winning is a habbit.

It is so nice to see we are slowly but surely getting into that habbit. Let's hope the spirit stays up through the younger years and permeates into senior team when some of these guys make it into the national team
