Question Why ? Why ? Why ?

- Where was this pitch during WI series ??? Why this turning track against Pakistan when they have 4 world class spinners ? why why why ???

- What has selectors seen in Farhad reza that they included him in the national team after so many years ? why why why ???

- why do we suck so bad against Pakistan ? why why why ???

pakistani attack would have been equally good on a pace friendly track. If the pitch was harder they would have scored 180+ like they scored against us in previous matches and we would have limped to 140... so the result or margin of defeat would have been the same.

We suck against subcontinental teams because even if they struggle against our spinners.. we do much worse against their spinners

Why after farhad? why why why?

Farhad was part of the problem, but not the only problem.

Why?

Beacuse even though he scored just 6 runs ...

1) He scored more than our top three combined in the batting order (3+3+0= 5)
2) He scored only one less run than our #1 superstar Sakib (batting at #4)
3) He scored 4 less runs than our captain Rahim (batting at #5)
4) He scored 200% more than our VC Riyad ( batting at #6)

If your top 6 fails, then he cannot be the only problem or the major problem in the team.

We are actually good at pace friendly track. That gives us a chance to play over the top shots. Ball comes at a nice pace which makes easy for our batsmen to play stroke considering all of our batsmen are aggressive and stroke maker. So, even if Pakistan had made 180 runs, at least our batsmen could have played some shots and score 160.

But spinning track for our stroke making batsmen more even against world class spinners ? No way. Its pity on them and on us too.

not necessary to bring Reza into it right away, but apart from that, I really hope the journalists dig into the pitch issues, we certainly didn't need such a spin friendly wicket.
Even though I think to win this match, one good innings (50+) would have been enough to win this match, we didn't play smart cricket which was the main reason.

why considering others to cover up his failure ? I too against Kayees and Naeem. Please dont consider them as 'Top Order'. Its a direct insult to all the top order batsmen in the world.

My point is why suddenly Farhad Reza ? Both Imrul and Naeem have been playing since last few series and they were on the way to getting out of the team and suddenly you pick an another player who has not performed any noteworthy performance in the team ? Are you serious selectors ??

At least if they had given chance to Mominul or Sabbir that would have made some sense to me.

We gave more runs in extras to Pakistan than any of our batsmen scored individually (barring Nasir). That's simply shocking. What's also shocking is that Nasir scored more runs than any Pakistani batsman (and we bowled decently) and yet we lost the game...by 50 runs?! what..

and still people are saying it wasn't a good T20 game

And my point is...its t20 where you bring new players.... when we have a bunch of non performers and we are struggling to get replacement players.... any new new player in the equation is a good thing than recycling old non performers... and yes I would also like to see players like Mominul or Sabbir .... and that can happen playing them instead of farhad.... but it can also happen instead of playing Imrul and/or Naeem and/or Alok and/or Riyad for example.

So pointing out Just farhad is just not telling the whole story when our top 6 batting order also failed along with farhad.

Why 1: Why was Mahmudullah added to squad without match practice?
Why 2: Why have 3 pacers in super spin friendly wicket?
Why 3: Why did Shafi bowl the last over when Kapali was doing so well?
Why 4: Why didn't Naeem bowl despite one of the economical bowler (ODI: 4.77) in the team in a spinning friendly track.
Why 5: Why did Mushy run himself out?
Why 6: Why play 9 all rounder of bits and pieces and ignore genuine hitters like Nazmul, Nazimuddin, and Aftab?

I like your why questions much better. Plus why Imrul in the T20?

Ditto.

All of them are very valid questions to ask specially 2 and 6.

who in BC thinks Kapali is good enough to be a no. 3?
he is a fringe player who is expected to score 15-20 runs at the death and put up a decent bowling effort on a good day. How on earth does he get the no. 3 spot at international level?
having Naeem, Kayes and Kapali was a recipe for disaster from the very begining... Mushy should have come in at no. 3 to hold the innings together while shak and nasir could have followed

Exactly! Why drop SN from T20 team and only consider of ODI?

Pakistan is just a better team then us. Plain and simple. In every single department they're better. Top order batting, middle order batting, spinners, pacers you name it and they're better then us. It was proven today. And then Tamim wasn't even there on top of that. We'll see how Imrul, Naeem, SN, and Alok do this series but I have serious doubts that they're going to perform. This should be their last series to show why they belong. If they don't manage to do it then move on. It's time we start ringing changes. We're just too dependent on Shakib, Tamim and Mushy. You can't win matches like that. You need a team full of guys that are capable of performing consistently. Asif Ahmed, Anamul and Mominul have been doing well and it's time we start thinking about them seriously.

That was another seriously dumb move. Alok's not a #3 batsman. Mushy or Shakib should've came in at #3. That's where I felt that the team made a huge mistake.

Let's face it, we suck at T20. We will continue to suck until the players get more opportunities to play T20's, but I'm sure improving at T20 is not our number 1 priority. Yes we lost the bubble gum stuff now let's concentrate on the more serious stuff. Just hoping Naeem, Alok etc step up their efforts with the bat in the Tests and ODIs. I didn't mention Kayes because it's a fact that Imrul Kayes BHUA and I have stopped expecting anything from him. The unfortunate thing is we're stuck with him as there is noone to replace him. I really really hope make Pak and it's fans STFU in the ODIs and Tests!!
