rain came back

but at one point you have to agree, this rain is nothing ominous. Infact if you ask me, the previous match could have been played for 5 overs and there would have been no damage done at all. As its a shortened game the outfield and pitch won't get too wet.

The good thing is, rain forecast for the night suggests comparatively less chance of precipitation

Nothing fancy...those of you who have been to Prophet (SalAllahu A'laihe wasallam's) masjid in Madina, KSA...I was very impressed with the Masjid Architecture...The roofs open and close on demand. we could do something like that in SBNS so roofs remain open during day and closed during rain.

Just shows the standard BPL has set in the world.

There is hardly any media correspondent at the stadium, no update. I hear BPL's TVR ratings is 2nd only to IPL, but in all other aspects

BPL is undoubtedly the worst.

Yes, the 2nd match has also been "officially" called off.

What a farce! And nothing could have been done about it.

Bangladesh should seriously consider building a roof at Mirpur stadium.

Cheap Idea:

Make Triple layer of Clothing(like a rickshaw) and use that as cover to shield the stadium from rain. use Waterproof material that does not go through wear and tear and use that to cover the roof on demand basis
