Not sure how to pronounce it. But I will try to break down into three parts to get the meaning out of it:

Potchefstroom: Potche + FST+ Room

Potche = Something is decaying (in Bangla)
SFT = Same Flippin' Thing
Room = Room

Potchefstroom: Same Flippin' Thing is decaying in the room.

Mushfiq must have seen something in Shafiul Islam that I haven't. Hope today is the day he proves me wrong.

Rofl, no Subashis, once again Taskin the run machine gets the nod, without any clear justification.

Unlike Subashish, Taskin can actually create wicket taking chances. 3 of his 4 games have been played on the flattest tracks. The one which was sporting in Christchurch, Taskin was troubling the NZ batters every ball almost.

This is actually a decent side. Only missing Shakib and Mosaddek to make a full strength side. Shafiul is ideally suited to being a 3rd seamer so even he could shine here.

Negative decision to bowl first. Guarantees a large first innings total by South Africa.

Yea wicket taking chances after going for 4-5 RPO, Subashish is pretty economical, in test you need someone with consistent line and lenght, not a spraygun.

This is South Africa. Overcast conditions. Day 1. WHY ARE YOU BOWLING SPIN IN THE 5TH OVER?

So Taskin and Shafiul ahead of Shuvashish. And Shafiul taken off for an offspinner in the 6th over. No point investing time following this.

Its like someone was half asleep when making the final team list and put Shafiul's name by mistake and wanted to put Shubasish

Fizz bowling in the high-ish 130s. Good to see.

This is the 8th over of the first day of a Test match in South Africa with no visible signs of turn yet. Why is Mehedi bowling at this stage?
