The first over from Khaled was terrific. I hope he get to play the rest of the matches.

man I hope there won't be anymore 190+ scores, too one sided.
BPL is not the tournament where we will see teams chasing 180+ even
Hope to see more scores between 150-170

Based on watching all the matches in BPL..

I must say BPL is the worst tournament out of all the other T20 tournaments.

We don't have a single genuine smasher of the ball or a hard hitter...where we will be like of if that guy clicks we are in for something big.

So sad.. really.. nothing to look forward too. matches are super boring.

yesterday's second and today's 1st matches were pretty good contest.

But I agree that there is not much to look forward to when it comes to BD players, today I felt like I was watching Carribean premier lg (even though I don't watch CPL) because of too many WI players.

Harsh judgements. I disagree. This bpl has been good so far, new venue lots of hype, excitement better players. Maybe your expectating too much. Do you watch IPL? Shall I give a list of matches that was low scoring, dull and one sided from last year?

BPL is our own product. Get behind. Because others won’t. Don’t be critical and negative like a typical person.

A product that is failing to produce genuine talent or the lack of it for the national team.

We need to produce super flat wicket to make the tournament exciting. Our usual sluggish wickets aren't appropriate for a t20 tournament like bpl.

There r lots of Bangladeshi fans who r crazy about IPL and follow it closely but don't bother watching BPL due to poorly contested matches. If we wanna make BPL a world class t20 tournament we need to bring those fans back to the stadium.

BPL is not for producing talent. That's the job of other first class tournaments. The primary purpose of BPL is to provide entertainment and advertise our cricket to the rest of the world.

But Yes, bpl can be a great stage for young players to showcase their talent and they can use it to come into the lime light. But u can't blame BPL for the lack of cricket talent in Bangladesh. It's due to the failure of our rubbish domestic structure.

khaled ahmed got potential but he looks so raw. The other Chowdhury bowler from the other team looks alot more polished. Abu Hider should be in the national team set up.

His 130kph dollys will be hit by all batsmen. Abul Hasan is ahead of him at the moment.

People are so obsessed with Pace. It's all about control, variations and reading the Batsmen. If you can get it up to 140k occasionally, that's great. Abu Jayed did pretty well yesterday despite his team conceding 200. that tells something. He is quality. He did bowl a couple of wides and apart from a couple of hit me deliveries his bowling was pretty much on point.

Abu Hider Rony also had a solid outing.

See the crowd in the gallery. That is all I have to say about this tournament. If everything else fails, at least the crowd saw players from around the world playing in their local league. That is a plus point for future generations to come. They can dream and idolize.

We would be like Wasim is coming to play in Bangladesh? really? Imran? Abdul Kadir? Gavaskar? Kapil? We would wait for 4 years+ for that may be to see them once.

Yes !!!! Where he came from? never heard of him before. He was a complete surprise to me.

Also liked Rony. He should get some chance ahead of some of our FBs that played last time. Rony is a wicket taker kind of bowler for limited over games,

btw way ..... Nurul showed some power and conviction. Watch out Litton !!!!

from what I have seen Abu Hider wont ever be effective other then T20. He isnt the smartest of bowlers. His pace is mediocre and his lack of control, swing doesnt cover up for it either. I liked how the Khaled guy bowled and Abu Jayed was tidy as usual. They are better prospects then Rony. Rony however has a long career ahead of him so definitely wont rule him out. His yorkers are very accurate
