Default Bangladesh needs older experienced players

Bangladesh keep losing
why?

They are the only international team with such young players
They need some more experienced players!

comments?

We're just a young side but we used to be a experienced side,I mean, our old players used to be experienced and now since the old players retired,we lost our experience.

Just cause their experienced does mean they will help our team improve or even win.

experience is overrated...nobody spoke of "experience" when Ash first burst into the scene...the miracle maiden Test century...those hooks and cuts for six and fours in England...experience was an old game...today Tamim is hot and nobody seems to complain the kid is barely past legal age...ooo so much for experience.....all of a sudden...things go wrong and ppl try to find something to blame...hmm it must be their age, must be their inexperience.....

i agree with u. i think in test matches, we definitely need senior and experienced player before ICC takes our test status away. khaled masud, ehsanul haq sejan, javed Omar, al shahriar should definitely be part of test team. thats my opinion. Its time for present performance , u can think about future later.

In our present team, i think masud can play as a batsman even.

if experience is overrated, australia and england wouldn't give their 30 plus player chance to play for the first time. even pakistan bring back misbah ul haq

how many indian or SL players are under 25 and how many we have?

either our player/BCCB is hiding players age or they are just finding some excuse to get rid of senior players and control young players according to their wish.

Less performing young players aer better than "Non performing" experienced players!!
Atleast they will get enough chances to get experiences

a team has to have ablend of youth nd experience,
after 8 years of test cricket how com we dont have any experienced players in the team- i dont have a problem with youth-
but wht happens after 5-6 years do we throw the youth of today for more younger players- if so than nothing will change-
coz in 15 years time if our team still has an average age of 22 thatl mean we made no progress

i got an idea today...
we should only recruit real big super fat players and then we can just stand there in front of the wicket and not ever get bowled out!
lbw...hmmm...i don't know...that needs some extra thinking!

Bangladesh need to get the services of.....................................Graeme Hick

He ticks both boxes:

- Older
- Experienced

He hasn't played for England in about 7 years, so he should qualify for Bangladesh quite quickly. Does he have a Bangladeshi mother or father? If so, it could be instantaneous. Really BCB should be investigating Hick's family tree and trying to get him in the squad against New Zealand.

My dad told me he played a bit of cricket in his teens. He is 68. Would he qualify for BD or should he take an offer from ICI.

ICI= inhouse chemist industry. in another words his medicine cupboard

mc bhai, jetha still plays cricket? damn! do you play with him?
i used to use my poor old dad as my karate/martial arts punching bag! one day i hit him too hard and i hurt him! i feel very sad now!
i used to pull a chuck norris or bruce lee on my elderly relatives (grandparents, uncles) and soon they learned to fear and respect me! i miss that! yeah, next time i see my abba, instead of hugging and salaam i will pull a hong kong kang-fu on him! i will just try not to hit his pace-maker!

We don't actually have many Quality old players for todays oppositions. They were good for that time. The more we develop more of the older players will look out dated, untill we get to reach the level at par with others. We must understand that we started the journey while we were far behind others, but were expected to make upto that level.

You can expect to see a young BD team for some more time.
