WI to pull out of India tour
The West Indies players have abruptly called off their India tour over an ongoing payment structure dispute between the WICB and WIPA. The fourth ODI in Dharamsala will be the last match of the tour. A senior BCCI official confirmed the development, saying the West Indies team management had informed the board of their decision earlier in the day.
According to the BCCI official, the board is trying to find an alternative team as a replacement, with Sri Lanka being the favourite.

That ll hurt. A lot of the West Indies players are more interested in franchise T20 cricket than their national team these days.

Worst board to mess with. BCCI will now screw both WICB and the players. That was a foolish move from Bravo and co.

^Are we free in November? Are we competitive enough to bring Indian crowd to the ground hence keeping the broadcasters interested?
The Eden Gardens tournament is strong enough even for our national team.

WI will have to pay $65m in damages to BCCI now. This should give them a lesson. I lost count how many times WI players have gone on a strike or threatened to strike.
Wondering if South Africa had the guts to seek damages when BCCI canceled their tour last year. Their loss might have been big as well.

WI annual revenue is 26mil, if they go into installments they'd take forever to pay off BCCI.

^ with our current form, it's better to stay away from G8. Lets win a match against ZIM first then think about winning the series before taking on any of the G8.
This WICB/BCCI is downright funny. WICB just dug their own grave. Not every board is BCB afterall.
