i am waiting to see matured cricket from our boys.we all know that the chance to repeat the result against australia is slim.i am not expecting anything but a good fight.i hope we bat first, post a respectable total, and do some magic with the white ball under flood light.oh,one more thing....not concede the bonus point.

I am looking forward to this game. Most people thought that this fixture would be a dead game but it isn't.

I am looking for a ruthless performance from England but also a good performance from Bangladesh. Although I wouldn't mind if England won comfortably, another good hard contest would do England some good.

I am expecting an England win. I don't think after seeing Bangladesh beat Australia that England will go into this match in an arrogant mood, they will see Bangladesh as a proven banana skin and will be determined to address the difference in quality between the two sides, and give more signals out to Australia that they mean serious business this summer.

I hope England bat first. The ball does a lot under lights by nature, and I would back England to make 300 against this Bangladesh attack with the amount of big hitting capabilites they have. Flintoff, KP, Geraint Jones and Collingwood can all hit a seriously long cricket ball.

This match will be closer than the Oval match, but England will win I think.

If Bangladesh gets to bat first, a win is very realistic expectation if the mind-set from last match carries through.

I just mentioned two if's ... there might be more. But Mashrafe under the lights will be more daunting than any English Batsman can ever expect.

Looking forward to a sleepless night leading to an exciting day in front of the TV

Bashar really need to win the toss in this match. If we are forced to bat under flood light, there is no way for any competition at all. we need to bat first. and if the batsman only picked up the self belief from last match and not overconfidence, there could be a different bangladesh all along. that most likely will not be enough to beat england, but should be good enough for a better show than the test series and first odi.

Bnagladesh win was no fluke! They won it hard. Chasing 250 is not easy. This is a capable team of repeatinmg the same feat. It's no dream. It's real. Just have to keep their heads high and play a confident game against all media propaganda.

Yeah they can win this one if they contine the dedication and hard work.

Buts its more important to beat australia once again (in terms of getting to the final).

Cricinfo Preveiw

A nice preveiw by Andrew Miller.. I especially like the opening paragraph.

Quote:
After what feels like the longest phoney war in history, England's summer finally gets underway for real tomorrow, when two confident and competitive teams come head to head in a must-win clash in Nottingham. Trent Bridge is the venue for the first of three floodlit matches in the NatWest Series, and the stakes could not be higher for England and ... err ... Bangladesh ...?
Anyways... I think the toss will be the most important thing. Bashar needs to win it if Bangladesh wants even a glimmer of a chance of winning.

All though our past record suggest a competitive performance after a win, I am not feeling good about tomorrow's match. No reason--I'm just fearing a very low score tomorrow from Bangladesh. Although after a win, Bangladesh performed good against India scoring 245 in reply to India's 300+ run. Hope my guess is absolutely wrong.

shahreer nafis has been included in the 13 men squad.may be nafis iqbal will be dropped.left-right combination can be a good tactic.but i am not sure if it will be a good idea to break the winning combination.

bashar definitely needs some pagla pani or pagla baba'r pani.may be he needs to watch commando and see how one person can finish more than thousand enimies. that may help him to shake off his fear of being aggresive captain.

Tigers like to have "fish and fries" for tomorrow's dinner. Please order it after the game.

As usual our emotions engulfing us again...
its not realistic to aim for a win with English team in English ground. there is no way we can rip through the powerful
English batting line up. We can restrict them 280+ if we bowl tightly otherwise 340+ may be the score if England bat first. We will probably make 170 due to the night visiblity.

If we bat first I have no comments on that because our batsmen are very inconsistent but I am hoping 230. All I want a good fight and make the English play till 35 or 40 overs to win if they bat second.
