Default Possibility of Ashraful playing county cricket

Inquilab Report (Sport Section - 6th page)

It writes Yorkshire might be interested. Some of their official might go to the stadium to watch Ashraful playing.

Its logical and would be nice. However, I am worried, our players can't even play a league in Dhaka, how will Ash manage to play county!!

It will be great for Ash but it will certainly depend on the consistency of his performance tomorrow and the next games.

it's better for him to play in England rather than Bangladesh were he's now a superstar.

I think Yorkshire play's the A team right?

It would be a great thing for our cricket if Ash does get to play in England.

ashraful is good enough to play county cricket. aftab and mashrafee would be the other candidates who can make it to the county circuit in the future. a stint in the county will be a great learning curve and can mould the careers of these young bangladeshi cricketers.

Typical Inquilab report.
Most probably made up in the editor's desk.
"Oviggo Mohol er Dharona", "Cricket Voktoder Dabi", "Onek-e Asha Korsen"---Inquilab mentions those sorts of sources when they have no valid source for the info, but want to publish to get market. With my experiecne of reading Inquilab for many many years, I can sense when they are lying!!!

But it would be nice if Ashraful gets the offer.

This will be great for Ashraful even if he makes it into a 2nd XI. It will give him experience and give him consistancy.....

By the way... Yorkshire all the way... to bad they have to get promoted.

County cricket team allowed to sign two overseas player.

Yorkshire have Phil Jaques and Ian Harvey.
jaques scored 638runs @ average of 58.00 this season.
Harvey scored 411 runs @ average of 41.00 and taken 16 wickets @ average of 30.00.

Now which one of these australian do u think Ash going to repalce?

Can't Ash still play for their 2nd XI and make his way up from there?

Or, what about signing him up for the next season? For the time being, in between international serieses, he can stay in England, play some club cricket and improve his English speaking.

No he can't as they alredy have two overseas player.
neway i doubt that any county would sign him, cause he is not any better than most county batsman and aint gonna attract more audience as most other foreign player does.
but he could play good club cricket.

As far as the report.........babubangla is absolutely correct......

But i personally feel it would be wonderful if he gets chance to play county cricket..........it will make ASH grow and mature as a cricketer.......1 season of county can make our ASH different and present to us as we want him.................
