Default gameplan against australia in the last match

so far, this tournament is not that bad as expected. we got good runs from ashraful, some patience from javed (i really appreciate that), some runs from aftab who shows lots of potentiality, last match pilot shows his coolness. rafiq and manjar shows some quality too. mashrafi didnt do that bad either. even najmul is not bad either. so next match why dont we change our game plan, lets see what happened against giant australia, anyway we have nothing to lose. my suggestion will be

opening

javed Omar
Mohammad rafiq
Shahriar nafis
Mohammad ashraful
Habibul bashar
Aftab Ahmed
Tushar Imran
Khaled Masud
Manjarul islam rana
mashrafi Murtaza
Najmul hossain

we need some quick run here. so later, they wont have that much pressure. Bowlers didnt do that bad either against england

Since it is the last match, playing Rajin I guess will not make any difference. So far,I think he is the only player who did not get a chance to play the ODIs.

Batting order right now is not bad (top order only failed once in 5 games).

What we need to plan is how the get the Aussies out.

Gilchrist - likes to play on back foot; if our openning bowlers get some swing we can pitch it upto him right on off-stump. Or we can put 2 gullies, bk-point to make him play his favorite cut shot.

Hayden - make him play 4-5 inches outside the off stump.

Ponting - always coming too far front in the beginning. Need some swining ball to get him out (CB or LBW)

Martin - not very strong on offside shots. Make him play on cover/extra cover with a catcher on that spot.

If we can get these guys out fairly early we got a game on and the rest will be under pressure and subdude.

As far as our batting, we just need 3-4 guys to score 40s to 50s. Changing the batting order right now doesn't have the higher probability to succeed. Everybody is set on their position.

As usaul we need some sparky fielding.

Bashar needs to be more aggressive on his field setup.

I think the two Nafis's should open and Rajin should be taken in place of Tushar Imran.

Baishya should be brought back in place of Rana.

I just want to add- swap Tushar and Aftab in the batting order. Any other change in the team, at this point, won't make it any better.

does'nt matter. We don't have a matchwinner bowler at the moment , that is the problem.

Game plan:

Play 50 overs, and for Ashraful, play 50 balls and score 25+ runs without hitting a 6.

All of the above equations will be perturbed by one variable - chacha.

This tour is his last. He may just be given a game before he says bye bye for good.

we have some consistent batting in the top order after tushar imran joined. he is not scoring 50's or 100's but he is stopping our batting collapse which we have seen in the past very often. plus he looks very comfortable in the pitch. bd should not change 5 players regardless they fail or perform for the next 4 odi in the near future. they are:
1.ash
2. tushar imran
3.aftab
4. shahriar nafees
they have got some good shots and good techniques as well.

Chacha can (as he has already done number of times) live to fight another day.

UnMAD techniques can be applied to win again

use super glue on the bails

make the bat special dry so that the ball catches fire or enough hot to burn and drop catches

use lungi instead of pants to show them some real balls

use special cloth to induce very high static charge on the balls and give them the real shock defeat

make all the players head tacobell so they can carefully place them towrds the bowlers and blind their eyes with reflection rays.

add as u wish

I think we should not change anything of our team at this moment. Our team is well capable of score 250 even against Australia and England as it shows by the good start of last 2 game. All we have to fix our middle order collapse, and keep concentration on run rate and wicket in hand. Rest of the thing will be enough to make a good competition within our limitations.
