Default Bangladesh Batting Line Up

Guys, i think the batting line up for the match vs Aus should be as below

1) Ashraful
2) Aftab

They can make use of 15 overs the best compared to
ny1 else. Javed cant make much use of 15 overs
and Abir is still not much experienced but Abir too can
play shots, so lets put him in 1st down.

3) Abir
4) Tushar
5) Javed
6) Bashar
7) Mashud
8) Rafique
9) Rana
10) Mashrafee
11) Nazmul

Note:- Guys, we just need to test this batting line up vs Aus and this match is not much imp.....i am saying so coz we are alredy out of final & this match we are just playing for pride...i noe we gonna loose this but it would be good to see how this line up clicks...Inshallah Ash & Aftab would be good as openers as they can make us of 15 overs better compared to others in the team....
So, lets check this Batting line up....

There is no need to mess with the current lineup. The only thing I might consider doing is trading Tushar's place with Aftab.

How come Javed is in your line up? He should be dropped from the team after the last match. Or he should come at #6 or #7 if there is a batting collapse up in the line up.

Javed cant be replaced with ny1 else coz he played all matches which would make it easier for him to play easily in the English condition...

If u drop him, it a risk to take Rajin as he dint play a single match and has no idea of how it is out there in the English pitches. Iqbal in bad form...

So, we need to take this idiot...

Ya, i agree it can Ash & Abir and then Aftab in 1down...

It makes no sense to have Ashraful/Aftab opening in England with the new white ball swinging/moving around. The genuine openers need to bat and take the shine off the ball and prefably score at 4 runs per over.

Javed has done a good job so far in England opening and has shown a lot of courage. You would'nt get England calling for Pietersen to open the batting just because he has a good strike rate.

The key is keeping wickets in hand come the slog overs with your big hitters still to bat. Unfortunately Ashraful did not score the last match with a good platform being set. If he had stayed in for 10 overs Bangladesh would have got in excess of 250 runs.

Javed @ 5!!..........ager match e 150 ball e 81 to korse........5 number e namaile na nite parbe singles na parbe boundary marte.......150 ball e 10 run korbe taile Javed..........

Javed jodi BD er ODI team e khelei........there is only one spot.........openning.......jodi opeening e sojjo na hoi......just drop him......

Openning with both Aftab and Ashraful is one of the most immature idea i have heard for quite a while..........

Well...how hell does players like Shewag, Afridi, Gilchrist, etc...smash the ball even whn it is swinging....i dont comp...ash & aftab with all those but lets us atleast see how they click....

Ash & Aftab have got the ability to take the shine off the ball and prefably score at 4 runs per over...

Talking of Pieterson, England dont need to open with him as Struass and Trescothik are more than enough for them....

Javed did well in taking off the shine of the ball in this series and he did show lot of courage but after that he doesnt hit 4's much raher than takes singles that also..less...

If Ash / Aftab would be there would take 4 runs....

Guys, even if Ash & Aftab flops in the opening, why to worry coz Javed gonna be there for us to make Bangladesh play till 50 overs....

So, why the hell cant we open with Ash & Aftab....

lance_klusner,
what do you think about the idea of opeening both with Flintoff and Pieterson??

You can open with one of them in certain times........but opeening with both of them is a radicullus idea....isn't it??

Got the idea? this is why i do not agree to open with both ASH and Aftab.

What about Javed (#1) and Ash (#2)? Javed has the experience and a steady hand and Ash has the firepower (if he can survive without going out for a duck, which means carefull selection of shots). Aftab #4 and Tushar #5 (perhaps).

Lance Kluesner,

Ash & Aftab opening in England is not gonna work!!!

It may work in the Indian-sub continent as they are different conditions and the bowlers get less assistance with the new ball.
