Aus is in big trouble 93/5.

Australia 145/5 (38.0 ov)

australia on the recovery phase.... Symonds & Hussey doing some much needed damage control.

looks like aussie is going down under on this ODI.

England should win this one, but there is still cloud cover and Australia have Lee and McGrath with the new ball.

Its no foregone conclusion.

But, GO ENGLAND YOU ARE THRASHING THESE AUSSIES AT THE MOMENT!!!!!

I'd be really disappointed if England don't win this one.

Yes, it was bad captaincy from Vaughan

The pacers should of bowled all them last 10 overs, Colly and Giles were left bowling for too long, and Australia got more runs than they should of.

Strange really, Vaughan is the best captain in the world, in my opinion anyway.

If England negotiate the first 15 overs without losing a wicket they should win without too much difficulty.

Would you pick Pietersen over Thorpe in the tests?

This is quite a big question.

I don't envy the selectors making this decision.

Personally, I would go for Pietersen because I think we have to take on Australia if we are to win the Ashes. Thorpe has been a good servant but he has lost his flair and bats too scratchily for my liking.

Pietersen does average 52 in first class cricket, with 21 hundreds and 25 fifies, but he does get a lot of ducks as well.

So if KP plays in the Ashes, expect some ducks, with good scores imbetween. He is not a consistent performer in long cricket. But, when he gets in, you can't get him out.

If Aussies win this one(which looks a distinct possibility), England would be badly demoralized as Aussies have come back well from behind. well done Aussies so far
