this is one of the good things abt cricket ,u dont have to b in shape to play good cricket.but good physique helps.sahe warne,hughes,boon,ranatunga,inzi.........

cricket doesnt need a good physiqe, as the players u mentioned are all top quality players yet have terrible shape. specially batsmen and spinners. being a fast bowler it would probably make a difference but then height is more imp for them rather being muscular.

Those players are exceptions not the norm. Cricketers these days are quite fit. They have to be.
