Default India scared to play BANGLADESH

Why India is now afraid to host BD? Because they will lose big time. And they know it., very well. BD is strong from playing England and Australia in England. We should fight all the way with Sri Lanka. At least a draw in a test will put us in good position and a one day win against the Lankans. TiGERS need to ROAR! They know about MASH, ASH, MASUD, SUMON, NAFEES, TUSHAR..... THEY ARE PROBABLY WON"T WANT TO BE BEATEN AGAIN! I was there when BD host India in Dhaka in 2004.
We are a lot better TEAM than last time.

Come on, we are not there just yet.

India has a different problem. The fact that any match involving india is watched by every indian, is a huge marketing apple that everyone wants a piece of.

Every nation wants to play india, every tri nation tournaments try to make India the 3rd team. They offer big money to India to participate, as they know, it will be worth it.

Bangladesh can not offer neither the money they normally get nor the cricket interest that will make every indian watch the match. So the only hope we have to play India is by enforcing the ICC calender, which is not on the top of India's priority list.

Just to understand the board rules better...does it constitute a violation of the board rules when someone uses couple of words or a sentence in CAPS (not every words or sentence of the post) to emphasize the meaning or to express that particular point loudly?

Note: I also sent this to a mod via u2u to educate myself better on the rules. I am still keeping this post here since reply to this post from mods might help others to understand board rules better.

We strongly discourage such impolite and unnecessary loudness. We ask you all to help us maintain a pleasant reading environment at all times.

Ofcourse, we'll consider justifiable exceptions.

I don't think they know it. But you can try to post this on a few indian cricket forums. I'm sure they'll know it then :P

I think capitalization of proper nouns should be permissible.

Of course, this is only my personal opinion. Umpire's , errr, moderator's decision is final

Not a problem, bro.

You know what, Banglacricket takes particular pride in the way we present our opinion. There are tons of forums out there. Messages are literally burried in between signature images, unnecessarily formated letters and the likes.

But here in Banglacricket, messages, the most important part of a forum, stand out tall and clear of so-called bad words. If cricket is a gentlemen's game then Banglacricket is a gentlemen's forum without a doubt.

We are proud of our members. And, you, yes you all deserve the full credit for making Banglacricket what it is now today.

Well let's not get carried away here.
India is still far better a team than BD. However, in ODIs BD should give this India team a run for their money in every game they will play. There will be some wins for BD- no doubt.

I bet, some day or the other, Bangladesh will be a far crazier cricket nation than India. Not only overcrowded spectators will flock to see test matches at home, but also view matches of the lowest category teams even without the involvement of the host nation,i.e Bangladesh.

I would say in ODI India would probably beat us 6 out of 10 times.

Anyway I Think If we had a Test series in India it wouldn't be a romp. some of our players have played cricket in india more than once either in the A team or playing of the BCB XI.

If you had to analyze our Last Test vs India, If we hadn't given Sachin 3 lives and hadn't droped all those catches who knows what would of happened?

The only reason we (fans) want to play India and Pakistan is because there not Giants anymore. Our players don't get Intimidated anymore when they face players like Sachin and Danguly.

The only reason Bangladesh hasn't played in India yet is because the BCCI is the Most Corrupt Cricket Board.

When is the series postponted ?

Really it would be wonderful to see the Bangladesh players playing against indians..

Most of the players are in good form like Ashraff... So bangladesh sometimes might defeat Indians in ODI and test...

Why India should be scared to face Bangladesh!

Let us not post over-ambitious ideas.

India would be favourites in 10 out of 10 matches. If we can avoid an innings defeat that would be an upset.

Let us not make laughing sock of ourselves.

India are digging their graves. Every time they deny the Bangaldeshi team to play on their home soil, they make them more and more mad. When they finally (inevitably) play India, BD will be so pumped up, they will explode into a fury of pain all over India's candy-***!

I am a great advocate of Bangladesh upsets as I am sure all fans are, but the topic headline really made me laugh. This is where we bd fans get carried away after one big win. How can you say that India are scared? They have been having a very tough time in Sri Lanka at the moment, but they have still made it to the finals and deserve it. I like evryone else am hoping for a few upsets against Sri Lanka but I am not goign to count my eggs before they hatch. India are not scared of Bangladesh. As one member pointed out, it may be corruption. Or it may lack of viewership. India know that they have the potential to beat Bangladesh 10 times out of 10. And they will try even harder now after their defeat by us in Dhaka.

Doesn't matter, they felt the wrath of BD when they are on-song, and BD are more likely to be on-song more often than not. They are aware of BD's potential, and they don't want to be in the way when they "click". That is one reason, I think.

Corruption, viewership, etc., are also relevant - but I think financially, playing against BD right now would be ideal as both BD and India would be keen to see how BD fair after a relatively successful tour of England.
