What (we really need) BD players to be doing...
Next-in-line pacer, Shaun Tait, "cracks open" a Northants batsman in a tour match.

And this is with the helmet on wow!!! I guess the helmet screws and rods made that crack. I wonder if Tait did that intentionally.

They are trying... they are trying. Thats what ChaCha is trying to do for last few games, pitching short pitch balls to scare the oponent. But only he had the speed of Shaun Tait. Thats the problem.

Sorry, but of all the England hating comments I have heard on this board, that is the worst - you should be ashamed of yourself.
I would never wish injury on anyone.

i didn't mean it like that. Believe i don't wish any harm done to an athlete by another athlete. I was trying to say if Tait would have the nerves to try that vs England.
You took my comments out of context

Hmm! may be i am missing something. The comment was right after chacha's comment. Thought it was chacha bowling short ball to Flintoff and he would punish it for six. Now that would be funny!!!

Just for the record, I don't wish harm on English batsman, but as a pacer myself who has revelled in making batsman jump around, it actually does give you a lift to see batsman cower in pain. The sight of blood seems to trigger something primal within...

bowler and the team should be fined for such deliveries. Like the bowler cannot bowl for the rest of the match if it is ODI and the innings if it is test.

may be that would be too harsh on the bowler. awarding some runs say 6 would encourage the captains/management to control their bowlers.

On second thought I take it back. These kind of hostility is a part of Cricket tradition. the batsmen are getting all the help they can get from the rule changes (Fielding restriction etc). No punishment is necessary.
If Holding, garner, marshall wasn't punished why would tait, lee, shoaib get the short hand?

Lots of bowlers lack sportsman spirit now a days. They are deliberately trying to hurt the batsman to prevent from playing from the next match or series. Lately some of the bowlers are bowling the short pitch stuff not to take wicket but to hurt the batsman. Also, I have seen some bowlers bowling at the toes of the batsman. Imagine the pain and the injury causing to the fingers and toe of the feet. Also some bowlers are bowling on the chest of the batsman to injure them.
Lately one by beamer by Shoaib Aktar against the South African Dale Stelyn. These are bad tactics.
