nick change request

Subject: Nick change request
Dear Moderator,
I am a member of your forum and I have been posting for a year. Although I didn’t like my nick when I signed up for BC, I still carried on using my nick without having any substantial pleasure of it. Now I am a bit fed up with my nick and I have decided to change. There are two main reasons why I want to change my nick. Firstly, I have been bullied by the dearest members calling me ‘bangla bhai’. After that I am feeling very insecure as you can imagine the BD security forces are looking for bangla bhai everywhere. Secondly, I miss many of my school friends who used to call me ‘Sorry’ (nick) for unknown reasons. Now I have decided to remember them by changing my nick to ‘Sorry’.
I will be delighted if you kindly strike the keyboard a few times and change my nick to Sorry. I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
banglar_dorbesh

Hai Hai ... ek ki korlam!!!
I guess I was one of the few guilty parties. Trust me, It was never intended to bully around, demean you or make you feel more insecure. So my apology to you.
btw.... congratulation .... I also like sorry better. However I am not sure, the new nick will help you avoiding public humuliation though. Good Luck!!!!
Hmmmmm... I need to find a new nick also.

thanks to mahmood.
i guess sauron would never like another nick starting with 'S' because in the other thread someone mentioned that he gets confused with shaoun and sauron.
Mr. Fazal,
does my post sound that serious?
btw, i like facing public humiliation.

For those who are from cadet colleges must remember the humming sound of "sorry" by the under classmen. That is the only word we use to repeatedly utter when we walked outside our rooms and class rooms. If not punishment was eminent.
I liked the Dorbesh nick name. Sorry is not bad either. But don't expect me to call you by your nick from now .

I too have a request for a name change. I was thinking of changing my name long before you suggested it Teshin. I was thinking ShadaBhai. But I was thinking of using my real name in light of the fact that many moderators have changed their nicks to their real names.
Please change my nick to Vladimir.
Thank you.
I do not like whiteguy anymore either, Teshin.
Thanks.

May I suggest Vladoo? Or Vlaidda.
A little Bangladesh-ized your name there. Of course no offence intended. But up to you to feel indignant or not

I don't feel indignant. Kinda proud that you'd want to Banglasize my name.
Sauron. How about VladimirBhai?
Yeah, I like that.

Naaah ... Bhai implies elder ... I'd rather prefer VaistaVladimir (Vladimir the Nephew) ...
Anywayz, regardless of what you choose, the name change is a wise move. And a bit over-due

Yes, it is over-due. The name has ran its course.

Bhai literally means brother, but when added with someone's name there is a connotation of elder status (not necessarily though).
BondhuVladimir is too corny. waaay to corny

How about 'VladMamu'? (mamu means maternal uncle. But it is usually used to define a very close and friendly relationship, sometimes, well, even among friends)

Wow, I don't wanna be corny Sauron!!! o.k. forget that one.
Baundule: I like VladMamu. That sounds great. I know some of my wife's family goes by UncleWhateverMama, and so forth. I call them whatever my wife calls them, so they've become that to me too. Hence, I kind of have affinity for that term. I like it. You are implying nice things Baundule. :embaressed:

Ya thats good. But we already have a Mamu (Zahid Mamu). I would rather choose from one of these
1. VladKakku
2. DostoVlad
3. ShobJantaBuroVlad

Know it all??? Well, I do type a lot sometimes. I guess I deserve that.
I do like VladKakku.
For some reason VladMamu appeals to me better. Does it matter there is already a Zahid Mamu? There's also a Faizal.

Hey friends,
...in the midst of my name change and learning about Canada cricket, I have to leave for a bit. My baby wife is mad, that I'm here and other forums instead of studying. She's right. it' s addictive.
....till next time................
Chow!
