Default england is hyped up by media?

before the pakistan tour, media almost gave you the feeling that england will white wash pakistan. they fooled many people including me. but now its clear which could have been assumed without any media help. england is poor in subcontinent, no match winning spinner, batsmen not very good against spin. procession of injuries only makes up excuses but in truth pakistan have given them a hiding.

how much u think england is hyped up by media?

not over hyped.

Before the ashes some media did not give England a chance. After the 1st ashes test they were excuting english players (except petierson) ten times a day.

Mostly Media always favors the better team. And then when the unexpected thing happens they take the underdog to a different level. When India won against Aus at home they were potrayed as the #1 team. Just like England.

Without a world class spinner England will have a very hard winter. Again I just want to say winning at home is similar to holding the serve. England has to win in Aus just as Pak has to win in England in order to claim higher status. India could not win the return leg against Aus but managed to draw the series, I believe.

A lot of the points mentined against England could also be applied to India , pakistan and Bangladesh (Not sri lanka though). All of the above teams' fans have a tendency of "over celebrating" a victory.

Just wait now till pakistani fans start claiming themselves as the best team around only to be brought down to earth in another series
