Is the BCB planning on hiring a fast bowling coach ?

If so, then is Bruce Reid a candidate or a potential candidate ?

Just remember, he was 6' 6'' + ...I wonder how us liliputs react to this collossus ??

Yeah, are we getting Bruce Reid? Man had a classic action. I think he will be able to help us.

I only saw Reid bowl after his comeback from spine injury. In my vague memory, he was a decent fast bowler. Kinda like Hadley. But less accurate. Better than that Mike Whitney. Maybe not as good as Carl Rackeman. Plus after his comeback, he couldn't bowl as fast as he used to. That's what the commentators said back then anyway. I am talking late 80's here.

Bruce Reid was much better than Carl Rackeman. I think you may be thinking of Terry Alderman Arnab. Rackeman was very ordinary.

I remember Reid from the 90-91 Ashes when he was the highest wicket taker for Australia. By the way, have you guys heard that that ECB has made Rod Marsh an England selector! He has been running the England Academy for the last couple of years but I never thought that they would make an Aussie an England Selector. I don't think it has ever happened before.
