Sunil Chetri of India was approached by Queens Park Rangers, but he was denied a work permit because England gives it only to players from countries in the FIFA top-70, plus EU members.
Baichung Bhutia had played for Bury a few seasons ago without any such problem.

Get in 150 first. Lets see if Salahuddin/Dido can build the platform.

Sep 2009 update
SAF is the worst in the world.
Ind 149
Maldives 155
SL 159
BD 167
Pak 168
Nepal 175
Bhutan 195.
Now if Afgans (191) are included then our average becomes 170.

It is painful to watch once so charismatic and athletic soccer team like Bangladesh to roll down the parapets within an eventful decade.
It is good that Salahuddin realizes it and now is the time to rejuvenate. Hoping for the Gold in next SAF games.

Realistically with the present half professionalism at every phase of the game it would take more than decades to be there.

Good. So only 148 places to cover in order to go past Spain? Easy!

In my opinion, especially Pakistan, India and Afghanistan should further improve their rankings among the other competing nations. It is because, they are leading their regions from center sports and sports center viewpoints.
