About our U19 team !

BD just finished their group matches. I think they played well but few points should have come to consider :

1. In each match, top order fails to get high score.

2. In the middle order captain Rahim shows maturity, that's a very good sign for our team.

3. Our fast bowlers didnt show any impressive bowling. After all they gave a lot of extra run, mainly wide. de Winter should think about it again. Against a big team like Aus or Ind, a single run is very vital.

4. Most positive side of our team is our spinners. They did realy well. And i hope that they can make difference against big team.

BD will play quarter final against ZM or ENG. i hope we can easily move to semifinal, if our team will play their simple game.

But most importantly, BD may face IND at semifinal. i think IND is the hardest team in this tournament. Our fast bowlers and top orders should not make same mistakes as they did. And spinners should bowl as they did.

I hope our team will bring 1st ever "world cup" for our 35 years old Bangladesh.

ind was beaten by the same england team who got a whipping from us
we will be able to beat them too,it they make it upto us,inshaallah

Hey...Shark_fin...

Good one dude....u r right, we can defeat them if we play our best. Indians can no doubt play our pacers well coz our pacers aint dat gr8, even if there, they jst cldnt do much here in Lanka.

Wht bout our spinners? Guess Indians will b able to play them wel as Indians are gud in playing spin...

Now coming 2 india's bowling....how are there pacers?? hope there is nobody who can swing too much coz then our batsmen's will b in probz and hw r there spinners....i feel our batsman's can cope wid spin as we already have got 4 great spinners in team

Yes the top order needs to improve now. I just don't know what is happening to them?

they have a very good legspinner in Piyush Chawla who many predict will be in national team very soon... He already played for India B and got Sachin with a googly...... other than that, I don't think their bowling is all that special... however they wont concede extras like we do and we really need to improve our top order batting and pace bowling
