আমি মর্মাহত। আমি পদত্যাগ চাই। কিন্তু কার? এক একবার মনে হয় - আমার। কোথা থেকে? বাংলাদেশ দলের "ফ্যান" এর পদ থেকে। কিন্তু পারি না। কারণ আমি ত এ পদে নির্বাচিত হইনি। এমনকি আমাকে কেউ দয়া করেও পিক করে নি। আল্লাহ/ভগবান আমাকে জন্মিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের মাটিতে। কাজেই এ পদটা আমার জন্মগত অধিকার - আমৃত্যু।

আমি ব্যথা পাই। বড় বাজে বুকে। তোমরা বলবে হার তো হার। হার মানতে শেখ। হেরেইতো আসছি সেই ছোটবেলা থেকে। স্বাধিনতা অর্জন আমি দেখিনি। আমার কাছে জয় বলতে হাতেগোনা কটা। ৮৮ সালের প্রেসিডেন্ত কাপ ফুটবল, নব্বই-এর এরশাদ হটানো, নিরানব্বই এর বিশ্বকাপে পাকিস্তানের বিরুদ্ধে জয়, ২০০০-এর টেস্ট স্ট্যাটাস প্রাপ্তি, ২০০৩ এ সাফ ফুটবল শিরোপা, ২০০৫ এ অস্ট্রেলিয়া, ভারতের বিপক্ষে জয়।

আর সবি শুধু পরাজয়। পরাজয় খেলায়, পরাজয় রাজনিতিতে। কোথায় নয়! কিন্তু পরাজয়-এর দায় কারো নেই। নেই কার মাথাব্যাথা। ওহ ওয়েল, উই উইল বাউন্স ব্যাক। এখানেই যেন সব শেষ।

খালি পরাজয় আর পরাজয়! বন্ধুরা, কে দায়ী বলত এসব পরাজয়ের জন্য? কিছু একটা কর তোমরা! নইলে ওরা সারা জীবন আমাদের বলতে থাকবে 'উই উইল বাউন্স ব্যাক'। প্রতি এক পরাজয়ে যে ঘা দিয়ে যায় ওরা বুকে, কয়টা জয় লাগবে সে ঘা শুকাতে?

কিছু একটা কর তোমরা! নইলে আমি পদত্যাগ চাই। দলের পদত্যাগ! কোচের পদত্যাগ!! নির্বাচকদের পদত্যাগ!!! বিসিবির কর্তাদের পদত্যাগ!!!!!!!

আমি তো ফেরেশতা না। আপনি হতে পারেন। আমার দল হারলে আমার খারাপ লাগে। জিতলে ভাল লাগে। কিন্তু সমস্যা হল ওরা এমনই হারে যে, আমাদের-ই মুখ ঢাকতে হয় লজ্জায়।
