The member can have their achievement tagged under their nick permanently.
Eg,
Magic boy
Cricket Legend
Member of the Week on 21/09/11

It is not equivalent value. That one day is worth many times over a simple status tag.

i have a small suggestion.

under the forum LEAGUES and TOURNAMENTS we have three sub forums. ICL,IPL and icc champs trophy.

now ICC CHAMPS trophy is an international tournament so it should be in the international tournament section.
ICL currently dont exist. so do we need a ICL suforum ???

and finally if there is IPL, why there is no bigbash, or subforums for other t20 leagues. and why only t20 leagues, we can have subforums for county cricket or ranji trophy or other FC cricket leagues or domestic ODI leagues. and also now we are having the CL t20 but not sure where this can be discussed . "International cricket" or "leagues and tournaments"?

so i suggest instead of IPL we may have a sub forum for "Foreign Domestic Leagues" that can cover all the foreign inter club, state leauges and tounaments.

may be IPL gets most attraction and thus it may deserve a separate subforum, but if we keep scope of other foreign leagues (ODI, t20 or FC) we may attract users of foreign country and their presence will make lot of us interested in those leagues and then the subforums may grow up.

i hope the modz will consider my suggestion ....

"Foreign Domestic League" is a good idea.
I like it.

My opinion ?? I think we can have the whole thing as a subforum under "International Cricket"
IPL/CLT20 and others are once a year thing and they are not heavily contributed throughout the year. Infact, even International Cricket forum is also very slow paced. Having them together, we can re-route traffic to both sections at the same time.

Just a thought.

He surely deserves one by now.
BC would be dead without him, so would be the fans.
Currently, there are 5 active threads on Ashraful.

Love him or hate him, he is the most talked about player in Bangladesh.

Seconded. Ashraful virus has even affected FC section. Sooner, Ashraful virus will turn 'BC' into 'Ash' ! The anti virus "the official thread of Ashraful' is not working properly.

Guys like Magic boy, Hoodlum, AbuDarda is doing a fantastic job taking their time out of enjoying a game of cricket to constantly give us live feedback, score update and commentaries.

Since the admins dont give out free candies, (t-shirt, coffee mug, key ring etc), how about a customized nick, say for a week ??
How about titles like "Member of the week" , "Special Contributor of the week", things like that.

Personally, I think there should be some reward based recognition program for members who are going out of their way to help all of us here.

Working in it. I think the thanks go to many more people and I am collecting names. There are so many members here who are dedicated fans and by their acts they serve the rest of us members. In addition to the one's who posted from the stadium, we must also credit those who aggregate and collect news from different sources and post here. I do not have the time to crawl and trawl through every cricket related site and newspaper that might have articles of interest to us but my thanks to those who post links to them here.

We have offstump, who does a great job of embedding PDF version of various news articles and particularly adept at finding tour news for the A, Academy and age-group teams.

There is nakedzero, a new member, but who has made valiant contributions above and beyond his age in this forum.

There are so many of you (yes, including you rabz) and in fact most of you who make this the best forum there is.

Thank you all.

I will probably end up acknowledging all of you except for those damn spammers and trolls.

Picture "Auto-Resizing"... thingi? Huge pictures totally messes up thread's layout. It gets very annoying. I've seen in other forums where they have that thing on top of every large images, and it usually says something like, "Size modified, click to view the full size."

We should get that...
