Default Team for 1st ODI against Kenya ?

I know everyone is a lot down due to our poor performance against zimbos but still we have to move on and move forward. In this series, i would like to see more youths play against the weakest ODI team available and make an impression. What will be your team for 1st odi?

Here's mine :

S. Nafees (capt)
M. Ashraful
R. Saleh
F. Reza
A. Ahmed
M. Rahim (wk)
S. Hasan
M. Rafique
S. Rasel
S. Hossain
M. Mortaza

I'll replace Tushar with anyone who will fail miserably in this odi

The last thing i would like to see is Pilot as captain but it is obvious and official that he will be

Thunder,
Why take out Abdur Razzak? He did perform better than Rafique. Swap them we have our under 24 team (officially and unofficially). Average age of 21.

I'd not play mortaza until he gets his acts togather. Rassel is a better option now with his nagging line and length. I wish SN was the captian of the team. But unfortunately, pilot IS the captain, so you can't make the team without him.

Fortunately for us, both golla and kapali are going to be in front of the TV set instead of on it. so, it does not matter really who plays. TI should not be in, other than that its all good.

We need more of a batsman than a bowler. I know Razzak is a very good bowler but he must sacrifice his place for an all-rounder (Saqib).

Also he can't be an alternative to Rafique considering Rafique is the final hope everytime we have a batting collapse..!

I like your team except for one. And you know who I am talking.
But realistically speaking, that is not going to happen. So I can live with your team for 1st ODI (atleast)

Why you are so hooked up with the (average team) age even though the young continue to perform more than the oldies.

If you are really concerned with age, the why not bring ChaCha, Shanto, Gullu in your team? That will increase the average team age and thus your confidence level in the team.

I know these boys have more talent and can perform better than the current players. Thats why last year I suggested a tri-series between U-19, BD-A and BD national team. We are rushing too soon. They still have more maturing to do. I am having a feeling, to get a short-term glory we are sacrificing the long-term future. The Standard of Cricket changes dramatically from Zim, Ken to SL, IND to Aus, Eng. Winning the remaining ODIs before the World Cup would give us a false sense of security. Then we will be critisizing these young pups in the same way when we would lose against the big boys. We are getting ready to throw out Ash from the team in 4 years time. Hope we don't say the same things about Sakib, Nazmus Sadat, Mehrab Jr., Mushfiq in the future. These are the right pieces of the puzzle. it's just I am afraid they are not ready yet to face McGrath, Warne. Once they start losing, the effect is immense and permanent. And at this level Cricket is more of a mental game.

I for one wanted to have these U-19 boys stay together and play more cricket under different conditions for at least another year. You can't "buy" experience.

My team is (According to Batting Order)-

Nafess
Rajin
Reza
Aftab
Tushar/Rahim
Saqib
Pilot
Rafiq
Razzaque
Shahadat
Mashrafi

I would really like to see someone replacing Ash-Fool (even if it's Tushar). Playing Saqib and Reza both will give us option for both Medium Pacer and/or Spinner as the 5th bowler.

Hai Hai .... throw out Ash from the team .... Ker eto buker Pata?

What people are saying that Ash needs a well deserved rest. We robbed his childhood. When he was supposted to be roaming around the para with full of marbles in his half-pant, he was forced to perform in the national team. Now its time to appreciate that and give him well deserved paid vacation as a token of appreciation. Who is saying he should be kicked out of the team for good?

He earned his paid vacation to refresh his mind and body. Why you see that as a punishment. Now if he doesn't want that, ask him to donate to me. I will be glad to take it.

100% Ghati Kotha. Thats why you let the young guys play against team like Kenya to gain some experience and see how far they have progressed. What Bura Dhari players will learn from playing against Kenya? They already have plenty of experince, don't they?

Playing International Cricket and National team is a "putul khela" in our bed room. So we put our favorite player in the team, or throw out one to simulate the result for own fantasy. Putting nice dress on, pulling pants off, and doing what ever we like. Win or loss doesn't matter after a nice sleep, No rules, no protocol, no responsibility needed, after all all are dolls and we just having fun.

Now you see what I've been concerned about.. I fear some our fellow members' twisted fantasies have reached the ears of Masri which probably led him into having those shocking visions of his childhood... tsk tsk tsk

Why are you including Ash in the team? You seem to have the same mindset as our selctors or may be you are one of them.
